Great restaurant, with a lovely big terrace. The restaurant has options, to sit inside or outside, and smoke nonsmoking. The food is fantastic, with lots to choose from.
The owners are always so welcoming, this is a family restaurant.
The service is great, and the atmosphere and the food. You can have options from, different menu's during the week, as well as on the weekend.
This restaurant gets really busy, during the periods, on Thursday, as this is the market day.
The local market is right, in front of the main street, from 8 am till 3 pm. On a Thursday it gets really busy, I recommend you go early or book. On the weekends this restaurant is always busy, it is better to book.
There is an option of watching soccer and sports. The bar inside is lovely for having cañas, this is a typical Spanish custom.
People meet for drinks sometime ear after but meet before lunch. Lunch is normally around about 3 pm. This restaurant is children-friendly and has a great menu.

El Bar.
Después de año y medio viviendo en la zona y viendo este restaurante en nuestras caminatas diarias con bebé 👶 probamos el menú.
Por 12,90€ puedes comer dentro o en terraza, por suerte y aún en invierno hacia buen sol.
Terraza muy amplia, buena sombra y parte pega el sol … que bueno que aún sea un restaurante donde te den botella de vino y casera con menú muchos lo cambian a sólo una copa de vino y no se disfruta tanto.
El primer plato paella mixta y sopa castellana…. Pfff sensacional, el pollo con el cangrejo y algunos mariscos me supo fresco y la sopa sabor potente muy rico que al frío viene increíble.
Segundo plato y un poco polémico jajajaaj cochino frito sabor brutal el contorno es casi el mismo en todos lados pero no dejando de lado que las papatas fritas no estaban tan buenas aguadas y con mucha grasa igual se comió.
Gallo a la andaluza.
Es un tipo de pescado llamado gallo…. Pensamos que nos comeríamos un gallo 🐔 y nadie nos dijo que era pescado pues a lo mejor aquí entre los locales se sobrentiende.

Comimos tres personas en fin de semana, la atención es excelente, los camareros encantadores y atentos, están muy pendientes de todo y te atienden con amabilidad. La comida está rica, especialmente los entrantes, la ensalada con queso de cabra deliciosa y original, la tabla de embutidos, y las croquetas no están mal pero tampoco son destacables. Los segundos ya no tienen tanta calidad, las mollejas no estaban mal pero no eran gran cosa, el foie no tenía mucho sabor y era muy grasiento, no era un foie de calidad. Nos gustó pero nos pareció excesivamente caro para la calidad de la comida y la cocina que tampoco era para tanto, ni mucho menos. No pedimos siquiera una botella de vino, sólo agua, un par de cervezas y un refresco y tocamos a sesenta euros cada uno. Creo que es excesivamente caro para tratarse de un restaurante del barrio de Villaverde de toda la vida, sin reformar, con comida tradicional simplemente rica e ingredientes normales, sin ser nada del otro mundo.
