Martinelli Beach Club — Restaurant in Manacor

Beautiful bar with incredible views. Stopped here for a drink and some food before going on a boat trip. We arrived early and service was slow, but understandable at that point as there seemed to only be one member of staff. Cocktails were expensive but delicious. However, we were left with empty glasses and after waiting for around 20 mins i went up to the bar to ask if we could order more drinks and food. The waitress took our drinks to the wrong table so i explained politely that they were for us and we also had food coming. She didnt say anything and walked away and sent the barman over who came to 'resolve our complaint' I explained that we hadn't complained and just wanted to make her aware of where we were sat so she would know when the food was ready as we were on a tightish timescale (although we arrived 2 and a half houes before our trip departs so that gives you an indication of how slow the service was) which he understood and said that was fine and it would be a couple of minutes. 20 minutes later, the food arrived while i was in the toilet, and they'd given us 2 of the same dish when we ordered 1 and the totally wrong baguette. Our drinks were empty and we weren't offered anymore. There was nobody around for me to explain that they'd sent wrong items. We had to leave because our trip was going so just went up to ask for the bill and i explained politely i had only ordered one, at which point the older bloke who i can only assume is the manager started shouting at me in spanish and the woman was accusing me of eating both dishes. I said if you go look at the table you'll see that I've left the portion untouched. After much hostility from the manager she returned and apologised and gave me the correct bill. The young man who served us initially was lovely and i appreciate mistakes happen but being shouted at furiously in Spanish is not what i expect from somewhere like this. In summary, if you want to sit and get heatstroke while waiting 30 mins for a drink and then get lectured by an irate manager who needs same lessons in grace and decorum, this is the perfect...

I can only speak for myself but if you ask me, I totally do not recommed you this establishment. The experience was sadly the worst I have ever made in my life.

it‘s really messy inside and not clean at all the staff seemed very off-putting, we immediatly felt a strange vibe when entering the restaurant; they were not nice, they were not welcoming, they felt a little disassociated, and they seemed like they were just waiting for you to order and finally leave. we ordered a salad and pizza frutti di mare to share. After feeling a little off we read the other reviews - hope you‘re not in the same situation right now because as you may have noticed: Not. A. Great. Idea. The napkin was dirty. The salad was old and had so many ingredients that weren‘t listed on the menu: like they put strawberry‘s, pineapple, olives, grapes in it and it wasnt even a tropicsl salad… it was just supposed to be a normal salad. My friend was allergic to strawberrys, so we sent it back and did not want another one… needless to say, they still gave us another one and to be honest - we did not trust them to actually have made a new, fresh one. The waiter was not amazed, tried to talk us into keeping the salad also saying that he couldn‘t „take it out of the receipt“. He even took the menu, to look whether we were telling the truth or not. Turns out. We were. The pizza wasn‘t good either. We were a little scared to eat the frutti di mare beacause of the whole situation, thinking we would regret it… iykyk… we paid the pizza and the drinks and left very dissappointed and shocked about the whole situation and behaviour. Not once was there a moment of regret or realisation; if we hadnt stayed persistent, we would have paid for a salad we never ate nor wanted. Its absolutely not worth it. Its sadly the only option at this beach but we would have rather not eaten anything for the whole day instead of going there. Its unhygienic, the ambiente is weird and off putting, it wasnt even worth the view, please dont let yourself get talked into ordering...

I warn you about this place! Beautiful view, the only bar on the beach, and not many people. When we came in, we were seated at a table without a view of the beach, even though that was what we cared about when choosing this place. Right away, the staff told us that we couldn’t change tables, even though there were free ones. Fine. Meanwhile, our 12-year-old went to the bathroom. A man came over with the menu but didn’t even let us look at it. He started yelling at us to decide quickly. When we, surprised by the whole situation, said that we’d just have a beer and a drink for now, he rolled his eyes and snatched the menus away as he walked off. The staff was talking to each other on walkie-talkies. Just because the conversation was in English doesn’t mean we don’t understand basic Spanish, and we could hear them gossiping about us. We got angry and felt that the place was suspicious, so we went up to the bar and said we were canceling and leaving. That’s when the staff started yelling at us, and the rudest of all was a brown-haired woman. She became sarcastic and downright mean. At that moment, our child returned from the bathroom, and they started yelling at her that we had to pay for the bathroom. We threw 2 euros on the table and left. The staff kept yelling at us and rushing us out. We were in shock, as were the other guests. We’re glad we decided to...
