Marymar is arguably one of the finest fish restaurants I've ever had the pleasure of visiting, and it certainly stands out for its exceptional freshness, creative presentation, and exquisite flavors. Nestled in the charming town of Manilva, just a stone's throw from the beach, Marymar offers an unforgettable culinary experience featuring the best of Spanish seafood.

During my visit, I savored the grilled sea bass, tender octopus, and succulent grilled sardines, all complemented by a delightful local Albariño white wine. This dry, light-bodied wine is best served chilled and pairs beautifully with all types of seafood, enhancing the flavors of each dish.

I highly recommend dining at Marymar, but be sure to book your table in advance, as it is a popular spot in the area. The owner is a remarkable gentleman—attentive, friendly, and dedicated to providing an outstanding dining experience. Don't miss out on this gem!

A true hidden gem in Sabinillas! Restaurante Marymar completely won us over, from the stunning seaside location to the outstanding food and the warm, attentive service.

We mainly had fish, and every dish was a delight: incredibly fresh, perfectly cooked, and full of flavor. The grilled prawns and squid were absolute standouts: simply unbeatable.

The atmosphere is relaxed yet stylish, with a direct view of the sea, perfect for a memorable afternoon. The service was friendly, fast, and always with a smile.

Lovely seafood, very delicious and fresh. Seabream is a bit smaller than I expected but it’s very fresh, no special seasoning or sauce just some salt, totally can taste the freshness of the fish. The owner of the restaurant grills our fish, octopus and king prawns with the olive tree woods, you can smell them a little bit in your food, very special. Our friends told me the fishermen here have been cooking their seafood this way for generations. So happy to enjoy the seafood this way.
