Restaurante Palm Beach — Restaurant in Marbella

I would like to say how disgusted I am from the service and from the people who are working in this restaurant . My Father (68 years old) came visit me in Marbella and today he was on the beach in front of the restaurant - he paid for umbrella and a sunbed … then he decide to have a beer and have a lunch . He saw couple of free tables in the terrace of the restaurant and went there asking for the menu . The lady said to him that the table that he choose is reserved ( without any sign on the table ) , so he saw other tables which are free and asked about them - the lady go to speak with another woman and when she came - said that everything is reserved . So my Dad went back in the beach on the shade … hungry … and ashamed . Waiting to see if these table are reserved for somebody - guess what … couples of hours later … the tables were still free . This is an absolutely disgusting way of discrimination of an old man ( who lost his beloved wife 5 years ago ) and now because he is alone - there is no table for him in the restaurant . I am gonna tell all my friends from Marbella not to go in your restaurant and will make a legal complain in the European Consumer Protection Commission . No words to describe your behavior ....

Been going here for many years now… the food was ok. The service was always a bit robotic and lacking friendliness and smile….staff would recognise you but you never heard welcome back. This last time I’ve been yelled at and called a liar by the manager because they took my booking at the wrong time and when I tried to just tell them I’ll wait the 90 minutes (which to make it easier for them I said it is my mistake) i got screamed at by the manager and and she walked away. Felt like I was the manager and she was the customer ;)

Staff not empowered and can’t make any small or big decision, the manager has to handle everything and she clearly can’t handle stress or be friendly with customers. I had few incidents from before but this time was the worse.

I would not recommend this place and hope some better management takes over… as locals living here we want to have sustainably better service restaurants and not tourist traps...

This was hands down the worst experience I’ve ever had. If you’re looking for a place where customer service is non-existent, you’ve found it. From the moment we arrived, the staff were cold, dismissive, and outright rude—as if doing their job was a burden.

The so-called manager (or owner?) made things even worse. Instead of addressing concerns professionally, she was confrontational and shockingly disrespectful. No sense of hospitality, no apology, just ego and attitude. It’s clear the leadership here sets the tone, and unfortunately, it’s a tone of complete disregard for guests.

The entire vibe was unwelcoming. We felt like we were intruding rather than paying customers. Save your time, your money, and your energy. There are far better beach clubs with staff who understand the basics of decency and service. This place doesn’t deserve...
