The Green Label — Restaurant in Mijas

We chose from the A la Carte menu . We have visited on Sunday and had a great experience with their Sunday lunch. Today we ordered bellu pork as a main and I ordered fish and chips. The belly pork had a very cripsy crackling which was almost impossible to eat, a cm layer of fat was below that followed by a layer of meat which hadn´t been cooked enough as it was difficult to cut and finally another cm layer of fat. The meat was tasteless. My fish was overcooked very dry and the fish skin had been left on.

We gave our comments, very politely to the waitress and she said she would inform the chef. No one came out to talk to us, offer a free drink, a little off the bill etc. We were given the bill and we paid it in full. Judging from the other reviews it looks like we may bit have had the service of a full kitchen staff. Venue gorgeous

I have catering experience and that is not the way to get customers to return...my advice .....stay with the Sunday dinner.....Very...

Visited the restaurant for Sunday lunch on the 10th September 2023. The restaurant was beautifully set out with umbrellas to shade the hot sun and the view over the golf course was stunning. The staff were very attentive and polite, nothing too much trouble. I personally had an issue with my food which was quickly and courteously resolved, resulting in a very satisfying, well presented and tasty meal - also seconded by our company at the table. All food and drinks were brought to the table quickly, leaving enough time between courses. The excellent entertainment was an added bonus, a young lady/singer by the name of Ada Garner provided us with a beautiful voice throughout our meal, providing both old and new music enjoyed by everyone. Went here for my birthday lunch, a little disappointing to hear it hand changed management hence also a change of menu. They didn't have the choices as before and didn't have the starter I was looking forward to, one of the main reasons I booked this place. The food was just nice, my chicken was a bit dry and needed a lot more sauce to be palatable and my husband's curry was way too spicy for him even though after asking the waiter had said it was mild. The desserts were nice but my apple tart was flat and not was I was expecting. The waiter was very busy and rushing around, needed extra staff to run more smoothly. Overall very disappointing and after paying nearly €100 for everything we certainly won't be going back for the a la carte menu. The snack food looked lovely and the whole ambience of the place...
