La Destilería Cocktail Bar — Restaurant in Murcia

Started off well with a cocktail then went down hill from there. We ordered starters which were nice enough. We hadn't had our starter plates cleared when they were trying to bring us our main courses. I had a prosciutto e funghi ... ham and mushroom pizza ... can not really go wrong with that ... yes you can... soggy bottom,tasteless san marzano tomato topping not sure it was .. waterey therefore made the base soggy, supposed to be roast ham... and a mix of garden mushrooms... one type of very cheap mushroom and cheap unroasted ham. We asked for the bill after being ignored. When the young waitress asked if everything was OK with my pizza I no. My partner explained the problem with the pizza and again she said sorry and we paid the bill and left. On the way out I saw her telling a guy who seemed to be running the bookings etc and he didn't make an effort to come and see us. We were very disappointed with the service and meal as a whole as we were looking forward to our meal here tonight as we thought this restaurant-bar would be a fabulous...

Wow! What an incredible hidden gem this place is. We stumbled across it and we are so glad we did. It’s hard to describe. Think really trendy New York warehouse style, with on trend decoration, furniture and funky minidisc in the background. Thomas served us and was brilliant. The menu has been well thought of and is in English and Spanish. It talks about the great details they went to to compile their offering, which is very untypical to say the least. When trying to order, we were struck by the incredible looking cocktails and food being served to others. It made the choice very difficult. We both went for Wagu burgers that were absolutely incredible. Probably the best burger I have ever eaten. Cocktails were then drank which were also extremely well presented, balanced while eating with nice house wine. Overall incredible value for money considering the experience is premium. We have been coming to this restaurant since it opened, however last night my family ate here and we were so disappointed and felt that the service and quality of the food was horrendous especially for the price you are paying. My father ordered a mushroom pizza and said there was likely one mushroom actually on it in total. I always order the mazinger you burger and they used to cut the cheese onto it at the table but it came with the cheese already on it which was cold and the bacon was black and unedable. Also we have 2 children and they had given us stools as an option to sit on inside and had no other option apart from outside where it was 30 degrees which we had to opt for as one of my children is only 2. No one asked us how our meal was during it or at the end and didn't even thank us just lifted the money from the table without saying anything. We won't be back, worst meal in sucina we...
