Honestly, this restaurant I was unsure about. The name is confusing because it sounds like it would be an American BBQ as it's called TexGrill. It serves Italian and what I call white people Mexican food. I think if they changed the name, they may have more people interested.
The inside is very clean, each table is set nicely, and it's a good sized restaurant. The inside doesn't reflect italian/mexican food as there's pictures of the usa on the wall and carnations on the table. They play popular music covered by no name singers. So the vibe of the restaurant, even being clean and well set up, doesn't reflect on the vibe that it should have.
However, the staff are very polite and the service was very good. We were the only ones in the place at 745pm, which did surprise me.
We ordered: Chicken tacos, which came with 3 tacos that were totally stuffed with meat, cheese, veggies, salsa & guac with side salad. Chicken Chimichanga, which was very large and filled with chicken, cheese, beans, and veg with sour cream & guac, with a side salad. Veggies Quesadilla, which was filled with onion, peppers, eggplant, cheese, sour cream & guac, with a side salad. Each portion was delicious and very large and really didn't need the side salads as we couldn't even touch them due to the size of our mains.
I'd highly recommend this place to eat and I'm honestly unsure why...
Read moreAbsolutely incredible service and food. We got picked up and dropped off for free. (Bonus! Although we tipped heavily but you'll understand why in a second). So... To start Avocado prawn cocktails (2) and Calamari (1) - Sublime, plenty of fruit within the cocktails and a beautiful flavour, the calamari cooked to perfection nothing chewy. Main meals were Lamb shanks (2) and chicken fajitas (1) - lamb shanks were cooked so well the bone would slip off without touching it, paired with veg and potatoes was delicious. The fajitas were perfectly cooked so juicy and tender they slipped down without the need to bite. The sauces were very good especially the "hot sauce". The chef's secret had a very special kick but was fruity and lovely. Genuinely the best food I've eaten on my 10 day holiday so far. All that's left to say is that the guys in the restaurant were very professional in everything they did, even down to pouring your wine. Absolutely stunning and thoroughly enjoyed next time I'm back in Sucina I'm 100% coming back. (Now you know...

The menu is vast. Such a huge selection of Mexican, Italian and American. Fantastic value. Large wine list. With excellent house wine just €10.50 a bottle.
We chose Nachos to share as a starter which were fantastic and to be honest, unnecessary, had we known how large the main course portions were going to be. We ordered chicken fajitas and beef tacos. We couldn’t finish both dishes. They were really nice and huge. We will definitely...
