An amazing find on our drive through this area. A local couple recommended the artichokes and the entrecôte steak which were both delicious ( homemade chips of course!) and we ordered the really unusual but equally delicious mixed salad. We drove 20 Kms from our hotel to this restaurant,Great service, really good home cooked food , owner speaks fluent English as he spent 7 years in England which was a bonus as we only speak a little Spanish, made us feel very welcome, took the time to explain all the menu to us , we will definitely try and get back , we are waiting for our campervan to be fixed. Decidimos sobre la marcha un sitio para comer y elegimos éste, nos encantó desde el primer momento.

La atención de los chicos que llevan el establecimiento es magnífica, siempre pendiente tuya y aconsejándote no solo qué podrías pedir, sino también la cantidad, lo que es de agradecer.

Tienen una gran variedad de cervezas a buen precio, como hacía mucho calor nos tomamos varias Estrella de Galicia Reserva 1906, a 2,20 euros la unidad. Fría y te ponían vaso helado si lo pedías.

La comida fue una tabla de quesos extremeños que estaba muy buena, y un solomillo de ternera a la parrilla que fue abundante, tierno y riquísimo, con su correspondiente guarnición. La tabla fue 15 euros y el solomillo 20 euros.

De postre una tarta de queso con cerezas muy rica, 4,50 euros.
