Great tacos right off Playa Patos beach with a view of the Islas Cíes!
The 7 of us ordered the Menú Familiar (65€) and the Menú Para 3 Personas (44€), and it was definitely the right amount. Five tacos per person, a drink and some Totopos and small salsas to share.
You can order and pay at the window, and they give you a buzzer to wait at your table for your order. We sat on the enclosed terraza outside, which was dog-friendly.
I tried: Nopales Cactus, Carnitas, Al Pastor, Conchinita pibil and Alambre. I personally loved the Al Pastor and the Conchinita Pibil. You can’t go wrong with a Mexican Sloppy Joe Taco!
There are three vegetarian tacos on the menu, all of which received many compliments from our table.
The guac was flavorless, but it was good when mixed with the other salsas.
The only reason I’m giving it 4 stars and not 5 is the same reason I never give any Mexican restaurants in Spain 5, no matter how tasty the food is.... tacos always seem to be waaaaay overpriced for what they are, and the fact that there are no bottomless bowls of good complementary salsa and chips like in the States. It’s so sad it hurts. But again, nothing to do with this restaurant itself.
I will definitely return the next time I go to Patos! Next time I’ll probably just order two tacos and a drink so I don’t feel personally victimized...
Read moreLEGIT! Ate there last night on the terraza and was amazed at the quality. You don't expect much in Spain in regards to Mexican food, but as an American with Mexican roots and living in NYC these tacos were phenomenal. 20 tacos, 4 beers and 3 bags of tostadas for 68 euros 😲 pricey for Spain? Yes. Worth it? Absolutely! Would be well over a hundred bucks plus tax and tip in NYC. When I asked for extra salsa and mentioned that I'm Mexican they brought me the one the chef eats 🔥🔥🔥 Deliciosa! The chef and servers were so kind and grateful for our compliments. I never write reviews but thought I needed to for them. I don't mind eating pulpo and calamares all the time while in Galicia, but this was such a pleasant change. Try the michelada (beer, clamato and hot spices!) and the frozen margarita. We tried most of their 10 varieties of tacos and found them all delicious. The cochinito and al pastor were the standouts for me. Coming here every year from now on! Keep up the good...
Read moreThis is a Mexican taco shop/stand. You order at the outside window if you don’t have reservations and they give you a device to let you know when your order is ready to be picked up at the window. So they have a few deals depending on how many people are eating it could be 2, 3, or 4 people. We decided to try the deal for two people. It’s 10 tacos of your choice with chips and guacamole all for 33€. Personally coming from Los Angeles, California I think these tacos are bit overpriced. I completely understand why they would be so, but it just didn’t feel like such a “deal” for me. Then drinks are paid separately, in total for the two person deal and two lemonades and a beer the total was ~€40. Don’t get me wrong the tacos were delicious, but everything is...
