Asador O Chiringuito — Restaurant in O Grove

We came back to this restaurant that we visited ~3 years ago. We ordered the same dish, because we loved it last time: Partilhada de marisco with a bottle of alvarinho wine. When you have an amazing and surprising experience and you tried to repeat it, it often falls short of your expectations. There was a bit of that here, but we still had a very nice meal. The seafood is still amazingly fresh and tasty. The zamburinas are spectacular grilled on the plancha caramelized with a touch of lemon. The taste of the small shrimps was amazing, reminding me of lobster. However the lagostinas were slightly undercooked and and the lingueirão would have been better a bit caramelized. The wine was not as good as the first time. The price also increased from 55 to 65 € compared to 3 years ago, but this has been a tough time for restaurants, so it's understandable. Overall we had a very nice dinner and probably the best meal...

Un final feliz de vacaciones,sin dudarlo!!! Mientras planeábamos nuestras vacaciones por Galicia,tuvimos claro que el marisco había que comerlo en O Grove, y tras una búsqueda de restaurante y lectura de reseñas y recomendaciones,dimos con este paraíso. Sin dudarlo, el trato del producto, el atendimiento, el ambiente TODO, DE 10. Pedimos para empezar una ración de navajas ( increíble sabor y textura), un buey de mar ( sin palabras , el mar en el paladar)y media de pulpo para la niña, hay que decir que cuando llegó el pulpo tenía pimentón picante, que no nos habían advertido, aún diciendo que eran para la niña( no preguntamos porque en los sitios en los que lo echaban nos decían primero) pero se portaron increíble, ya que al darse cuenta que la niña se quejaba y que le estábamos limpiando el pulpo para quitarle el pimentón, enseguida le trajeron otro plato sin pimentón picante para ella que, además,no cobraron. Por cierto, riquísimo también. Para rematar este tremendo almuerzo pedimos un rodaballo a la brasa que estaba delicioso, en su punto, fresco, se deshacia en la boca. Pusimos la guinda con filloas de crema pastelera y chocolate, ambas cremas caseras, y una tarta de santiago casera para quitar el sentido. Y lo mejor de todo el precio...
