A waiter approached us while still on the phone and, without taking our order, disappeared for about 20 minutes. When he finally returned, we asked for coffee, but instead he explained in a rather dismissive manner that this was a prestigious restaurant where one cannot simply have coffee. This was surprising, especially since there were plenty of empty tables. It was also already 3:10 PM, and the sign at the entrance clearly stated that the kitchen closes after 3. What a meal and a deal. For less than €15 you get a starter, main, dessert, bread and wine! And this is not just any meal - everything is homemade (made in house) from my mushroom ravioli to the chocolate cream with olive oil and salt (amazing). Staff is kind and attentive (but not TOO attentive) and the place provides the comforts of being inside while feeling like you are outside. Despite being packed, the acoustics kept noise at bay. Restaurante supuestamente acogedor. Al ir con el perro, nos sentaron en una mesa que hay al lado de la puerta, en el exterior. Entendimos, pues, que no es pet friendly.

Por lo que respecta al servicio de cocina y sala. Excelente. La cocina respetó los tempos entre platos. Cuánto a la sala, hacia tiempo que no veía ese tipo de camareros: educados, amables y serviciales. Como sacados de la escuela de hostelería, con lo cuál, se agradece.

Pedimos lo siguiente: una ensalada de calabaza con crema de puerro y espárragos, unas patatas de olot y, de segundo, una suprema de ternera con salsa chateubrinad y una hamburguesa casera. La ensalada muy buena. No hizo falta aliñarla. Las patatas d'olot muy buenas, pero había exceso de aceite. Cuánto a la hamburguesa, estaba buena, pero para mí gusto, tenía al final como un ligero sabor a grasa de cerdo rancio. Iba acompañada de unas verduras muy ricas. Finalmente, la suprema de ternera EXCELENTE. Melosa, untuosa. No obstante, le faltaba un poco más de salsa.

Postres: xuxo y tiramisú. El tiramisú está bueno, pero no me gustó. Tenía un sabor un poco peculiar que se alejaba del típico tiramisú casero de otras casas. Quizás fue un licor o alguna otro ingrediente que hace predominar. En cambio el xuxo... muy rico.

El precio, 64 euros. Muy bien de acuerdo con el producto empleado y el servicio....
