Restaurant la Piscina — Restaurant in Parcent

We have been coming here for years with guests for the flamenco and the show & menu were incredible value. The flamenco was superb. Now under new management, the atmosphere and the flamenco are gone. The waitress explained it was too expensive and the tourists don’t want it. Certainly the restaurant was full but it was full before. The menu is now smaller, not as good quality and more expensive but with no flamenco. It’s been replaced by a man with a keyboard playing backing tracks and singing. Having travelled some way after checking the website for times prior to visiting, we suggested it might be a good idea to update to say they don’t do Flamenco any more but apparently they don’t have access to do that. Apart from a two year gap due to covid travel restrictions we've dined at la Piscina each year for over two decades during our annual trip to visit family. The restaurant is under new management. The staff were friendly, helpful and welcoming. The food was excellent, being very well presented and great value for the quality and quantity provided. The staff are very well mannered and friendly, they speak good English as well if your Spanish isn't too good.

Food is spectacular and varied as well as VERY reasonably priced; three course meal for €15.00 (including one drink) and you're not hungry by the end of it. Try getting that back in the UK!

I suggest saving a piece of bread as they have a huge swimming pool full of massive fish, go feed them once you've fed yourself! 10/10,...
