Restaurant was found through the previous recommendations and first impressions were positive.
Even though it was a typical cold winter night, the garden within looked lovely. A great welcoming aspect. This garden was within the property walls. There was a pleasant smaller room with a view to the garden which can be great for spring and summer time.
Inside the restaurant itself, one can be presented with all the tables ready and a bottle of wine as part of a consumable decoration. The ambient music was a mix of lounge and jazz version covers of famous songs. This combined with the cast iron wood fireplace set the mood for a perfect and cozy dinner.
The wine, a Rioja 2019 crianza, was a pleasant and delicious surprise. A recommendation for the Burrata salad was taken which was excellent and well-rounded on flavours. The onion soup incredibly flavourful and savory. As part of the traditional gastronomy, the ox tail stew was chosen. With freshly made sliced fried potatoes it was heavenly. The solomillo (sirloin) was heavenly tender and flavourful, garnished with caramelized onions.
This was finished with the flan de queso with chocolate and caramel sauce. The portion was perfect considering the previous dishes.
Closing the meal, chupitos were served. De crema and de hierbas. For Bailey's fans, crema. For herbal liquor fans, de hierbas. I would say it's was the best since it fit the environment and the background music was inviting to savour the drink.

Read moreVery cozy restaurant in Pedrezuela with Jazz music, a small fireplace and dim lights. With the stone and wood used in the interior it reminds me to a little cabin in the woods. The food for me is definitely five star starting from presentation to quality. They only make one hamburger but it is the absolute best one I have tasted for a long time with goat cheese and caramelized onion and meat which must be from the local area. The "sirloin steak slices" were made to perfection and even someone who does not particularly enjoys red meat loved it a lot. Had Aubergines with blueberry jam as a starter and did...
