Down in Pego, this traditional Spanish restaurant is a true delight for the senses. From the moment we stepped into the beautiful courtyard, you were transported to a serene oasis, surrounded by local greenery and the gentle shade of the overhead vine leaves. Quite lovely!
The menu offers a great selection of traditional Spanish dishes. From the rich and savory tapas to the delicate seafood specials, each dish crafted with care and authenticity. The octopus melts in your mouth, and the patatas bravas are crispy and perfectly seasoned. My personal favourite, the Monkfish is a must-try, bursting with spices and a drizzled in a delicious mustard dressing.
Complementing the exquisite food is a terrific wine list that showcases the best of Spanish vineyards. Whether you prefer a robust Rioja or a crisp Albariño, the choice is several pages and you will find the perfect pairing for your meal. Trust me with the Albariño... or two ;)
The service is warm and attentive, making you feel like a valued guest from the moment you arrive.

The food is straight ahead but refined and always full of subtle flavour. The service is great, the ambience is to die for and the prices are correct for the quality. The last 2 or 3 times we have been here it has been quieter than expected which seems strange for a restaurant of this quality. But seriously, this is a lovely place to spend some time with your...
Read moreThis restaurant is close to the centre, ideal if you like a calm and warm atmosphere. Food is exceptionally good, they deserve at least one Michelin star, so take your time and try multiple dishes from the menu. And I definitely recommend to drink wines instead of beer, most of their food match with wine better than beer. Prices are also good compared to the quality, which is really at the top. The waiters and waitresses were absolutely kind and they speak English very well. In overall, this was THE BEST restaurant during our 5-day-long visit, Fine- dining quality with normal proportions and fair prices, I couldn't...
