Chicken and Fish Grill — Restaurant in Pineda de Mar

The place looks really good they have a special grill for chicken that really turned us on so we wanted to try it. Most of the waiters were really nice and friendly. As well as the the other guests. We got probably the worst waiter in town. We got really bad service from him. For example: lack of knowledge about the menu, lack of knowledge about the dishes, did not stop yawning in front of our faces all evening, even while ordering. In our opinion the dishes were tasteless, small and it felt like the chef didn't have the strength to cook that day because when we ordered their famous sea bass supreme. The fish were cook nicely but i got with that 4 half cherry tomatoes, 4 slices of potato and the sauce...good question because I didn't have any. We arrived immediately for dinner service and we were helped right away. Food got to us very fast. The 1/2 rotisserie chicken was juicy and had good spice and flavour to it. The beef tenderloin was incredible. Very tasty grilled flavour, olive oil and salt flakes. But, I will be honest. The showstopper for me were the olives served when you order your food. Best olives I've ever had and I would buy a bucket load of those in a heartbeat.

Overall the food was fantastic, atmosphere amazing and probably, in our opinion, the best spot to eat in Pineda.

We were surprised by the cost of the food as we read a lot of reviews bickering about the price and portion ratio but we can't relate at all.

The food is not good, for a tourist it will be since they don’t know any better even compared to their countries, but every day is different they can’t keep the style and quality more than one day. We once were put near the bathroom and there no client closes the door so you see people pee and you get that white wine and pee cocktail, so we stand up and have to close the door. Eventually after 4 days and more than 600€ spent there the last day the service was bad, the sardines full of spines, wet meat and not cooked on the grill as it should, and octopus dry and overcooked over a potato pure.
