Restaurante Asador Albenzaire — Restaurant in Pinos Puente

En route to Alhambra we dined here & it was okay, but not enjoyable. They had run out of chicken burgers for kids, but offered fries only as an option. The grilled fish had lots of bones & was served slightly like an alien. Lol. The skewered meat was interestingly served but 50/50 our kids didn’t quite enjoy the aniseed-flavoured blood sausage that was counted as 1 of 3 pieces of meat. Mixed salad was fine. They didn’t collect/change the cutlery between entrees & main course. Overall - okay, but we’re iffy on whether it was worth the money. The menu had an English page, but the service was all in Spanish. Ambiance was nice & service was friendly. The toilets looked nice for the photos, but were missing toilet covers & some light switches (sockets sticking out). Basically, it’s an eatery to what seems a bit run-down...

Been with my family and kids and I must say it's a really nice place. The food was excellent, we had barbecue mix and I have congratulate the chef (I think Stefan was his name), as all barbecue was not only perfect, but, excellent. Han tardado la vida en atendernos y cuando pedimos, nos dijo que no tenían mi hamburguesa (no pasa nada), procedo a mirar para pedir otra, y me dice "ya te he apuntado esta, no mires más" y se va. Me había anotado una de ternera sin darme opción cuando a mí, no me gusta y me quería pedir la de pollo. Obviamente no me la comí y cuando vino a cobrarnos, nos quejamos y me ofrecieron unas nuggets, que no acepté, para "compensar" (increíble). Nos lo cobraron y muy a disgusto nos fuimos.
