We were walking around all of Redondela untill we luckily found this place. After looking at several restaurants we can conclude that the Gastrobar is actually the best Restaurant in this town. The really friendly waiter greeted us right away and even chatted with us in English. We had a salad with chicken and bacon as a starter which was one of the best salads we've ever had and the main courses were really well done, too. The portions were quite big and we had a hard time finishing our meals, but that was actually quite nice. We bought a bottle of regional wine for around 10€ and it tasted delicious! Our friend Alfredo was struggling to find somewhere open but eventually settled on the 78 Gastrobar. Just had a couple dishes as it was gone 11pm.Nice tomatoe and burratta salad piping hot crispy artisan chips and the stand out was the red prawn croquetes which were exceptional all washed down with red vermouth. Definitely would recommend and would return with more time and try more dishes but will return tomorrow as my wife left her phone and glasses at the restaurant. Read moreI first had a delicious value for money menu del dia from here for 10€ 5 years ago. Service was great too. They have great wines & the interior is tastefully decorated. There's also a small outdoor terrace in the pedestrianised street which is right on the Camino.
