Unfortunately I have to rate this place with two stars, the reason being that the service wasn’t the best. We had our stroller and it was a bit windy and we were contemplating to eat out in the terrace where it was partially protected by sliding glass doors or to go inside. We finally decided to sit outside and the young waiter had seen us and asked us where we were going to sit. We sat down and saw the same waiter go outside and pick uprisings from one table, take an order from another table, and actually take out their drinks. Mind you he passed by our table at least 3 times and he didn’t make the smallest comment concerning that it was taking him a while. A simple “good evening, I’ll be right with you” would suffice. At the end my husband and I decided to get up and leave because we found it absurd, as we were getting up he came to us and asked in castellano, “al final que” pretty much saying “ what are you getting at the end?” Which I found kind of rude so we replied with saying nothing and...
Read more17 euros una tapa de pulpo marcada como ración. 10 euros por un puñado de calamares. 1 euro de cargo extra por “pan” por cada persona. Solo por sentarnos 7 personas: 7 euros. Comida cara y regular. Ya no culpo a los camareros por el regular servicio, pues me da la impresión que hacen jornadas maratonianas.
Dentro del espectro de la deteriorada hostelería de Arealonga, probablemente el máximo exponente de la hostelería que piensa que las épocas de vacas gordas no se van a acabar nunca. En general, en la zona, Precios que crecen con raciones que menguan, malas caras y cargos de entre 1-3 euros por pan correoso (no tendremos buen pan en Galicia!!). Si el cargo es por “servicio”, como me han llegado a decir, me parece aún más vergonzoso, tener un cargo oculto adicional dados los precios que se manejan este verano ya.
En resumen, la zona es estupenda en verano para tomar algo pero, si lo que queréis es comer bien a buen precio, hay decenas de mejores opciones por Vigo o Redondela a un...
