Worst place where I could go, overpriced for a medium to bad food and lack of customer service. They brought a huge amount of a piece of meat, and on the initial bill they charged it with €31 stipulating that it was supposed to be charged by gram and not by portion. 100g was supposed to be €4. On the bil they overpriced a salad from 8 to 21 euros and after I have pointed out they brought me a new bill with the salad at 8 but the steak was increased to €40 now. It was obvious that they didn't had customers and they were trying to squeeze as much money as they could from us. They didn't want to admit overcharging us saying that they have made an error earlier and in fact it was 1kg of meat before cooking and the price was supposed to be 40 instead of 31. According to them this is a portion that one person is supposed to have: 1KG!!!! So we end up paying the bill. BUT I WILL NEVER GO BACK AND I WOULDN'T RECOMEND TO ANYONE TO GO. The steak was obviously undercooked althought we have requested to be well done and they brought it raw. We have requested to take it away and again they have brought it half raw. We have also ordered a portion of grilled cod but it was just slightly cooked in a pan instead of grill as ordered. Neithless to say that the steak was just touched on the edges, where it was slightly better cooked and more than 3 quarters was left in the plate. They have delayed bringing the bill and insisted a few times to give us the food for take away, to justify...
Read moreWe visited La Nora last night for the first time as we were looking for somewhere to take my daughter and her friends. It was very windy and cold. We were welcomed in and given time to look at the menu without being pressured to stay. The steak was weighed to tell us the price so we could decide if we wanted it. I had pulpo which was very good. The food arrived very well presented and we all said it was amazing. In our group we had an adventurous eater and two who weren't quite so. Their menu catered for us all. They have tostada alcohol free beer which is our favourite. The house wine was also very good. Despite the weather the chef still had the Chiringito going and went out to cook our food. It all arrived quickly and roughly at the same time. The service was superb. Happy attentive people who clearly love what they do. I want to give then a big thank you for making our...
Read moreAverage food and service but simply very bad price and quality ratio.
We ordered gampas which didn't taste fresh and it cost 10e per dish for 6 small sized pieces. Also the pilpil sauce was a bit stifling. There was 4 pieces of bread in bill and we got 3. Waiter just put the stuff on the side of table and didn't ask anything and he missed one of main courses in the order. Fries were OK but even the ketchup bottle had not been unsealed. Do it yourself....
