La Taverneta — Restaurant in Ripoll

More specifically, 3.5/5. It was really hit or miss honestly. The braised looking pork with potato medallions was fire - absolute 5/5 meal. The other dishes like the pork chops (forget the specific name, starts with the letter “X” in Calalonian), we’re definitely not my cup of tea since they were 90% fat. I don’t want to judge that too harshly, since that may just be how the dish is meant to be and I ordered it unknowingly.

Tapas were also pretty hot or miss - croquettes were good, patatas bravas were simple, but good.

Would come back for the one dish labeled “awesome meat” in a heartbeat though, one of the best things I had in my tour...

This is just the place to be in Ripoll. Great food, great beer, great people... great place! Local sourced, fresh ingredients, exciting tapas, fun, vintage and quirky deco - this place is great for a stop at any moment of the day. Especially busy on nights and weekends, do go early to get a table or stay at the bar and enjoy some random conversation with the nicest waiters and bar owners ever, or with the very fun and friendly regulars around. It's a chilled place, fun to be and also family friendly. Do not miss it...

El domingo 13 de agosto decidí ir de paseo a Ripoll, como es normal miras que ver y donde comer, primera en la lista La Taverneta, en el caso de los domingos de 11 a17 horas, entonces la pregunta es si abren a las 11 y según el calificativo "Restaurante" pues habrá de todo y según los que ponen reseñas hay de todo, pues hay empezó el error. Todas las mesas de la terraza llenas, una camarera muy rápida que Si hace su trabajo, entre dentro del local y pregunte, me puedo sentar, y una chica en el interior con cara de pocos amigos movió la cabeza y me dijo que si, después de cinco minutos pedí bebida y que había para picar algo normal a las 12, hay empezó el calvario, respuesta, no tenemos nada, si quiere patatas fritas olivas o bravas y pregunte según internet y las reseñas de otros tenéis de todo, pues no solo ha partir de las tarde según respuesta, pues nada bravas, treinta minutos después aparece la dueña después de verme que miraba mucho y me contesta que el aceite estaba frio y que la vida no se acaba si las quiero bien, pues nada ya saben si van a Ripoll en la plaza hay un lugar Muchísimo mejor en calidad, Ambiente, Servicio y comida que se llama EL MOLI. A un tema a los que si atienden con sonrisa y comida y bebida fresquita son a los de Ripoll, lo vi con mis ojos, o sea no es necesario ni ir tan lejos ni ver las reseñas ya que la mitad serán...
