Roco Cycling — Restaurant in Roses

Booked online in advance to hire a road bike for the 1st of July. Only time I could book it for was 10am to 2pm. Messaged the manager on whatsapp on the 29th of June asking if I can cancel and refund my 40euro. 30th of June they replied vaguely however didn't confirm or deny the refund. 1st of July, the day of the hire I went down to the bike shop to confirm the refund however I had my 2 year old in the car so couldn't wait for the 5 people + line to clear up. I also messaged in the morning to confirm that the hire was cancelled, however no reply. 2nd July after the hire the manager said they'd have to confirm with the owner if I could get refunded. Had to chase them until the 16th July to finally get a reply to which I was told no. Poor communication from the team at Roco. Would...

A proper espresso spot, watering hole and cafe for cyclists. You can stop by, have a bite, ggrab some coffe while watching la Vuelta stage on a big screen.

We also rented gravel bikes from Roco. Not the lightest in the world but for rentals and at this price point this was a ridiculously good value.

Although the website offered limited options for rental timeframes, the owner showed a great deal of flexibility, and we managed to make our dream come true: Cycle to see the Vuelta stage 5 in Figueres. All without mishaps (however, the bikes were equipped in full emergency kits just in case).

Without question next time in Roses without our own bicycles, Roco cycling will be our first choice...

We rented bikes for 4 days to cycle in Cap de Creus and had a fantastic time! Got four gravel bikes that were well geared up and ready to go with everything we needed and Roco took great care of us and our bikes. He is knowledgeable, skilled and well networked in the local cycling community. Half way through we switched two gravel bikes in for e-mtn bikes for our teenagers so we could make the longer ride to Cadaques and it was a great experience!
