Important note: I think they cater mostly to hikers who pass through on the trail nearby. If you’re not staying at a nearby hotel, there is no formal parking area. We found one wide spot in the road where we could safely park our rental car without inhibiting the road. From here, it was a lovely 10 minute walk up to the cafe. Google maps makes it seem like you can drive right up the the property - this is incorrect. The gate on the right hand side of the trail (the route suggested by Google Maps) was closed, but the walking trail to the left leads you to the cafe. The signs are faded which might make it difficult for some, but I think that adds to the adventure and charm. If you’re expecting a Starbucks drive through, you’re in the wrong place 😉

Now we know the Finca is there, we will go out of our way to trek to...
Read moreIt's just a picture perfect place. Up in the montains, beautiful old Finca and garden and a stunning view. All wrapped in a nice, rural and super friendly run cafe. It's a place worth the hike. Note: you cannot go by car really, Google takes you to the point on the main road but that's not where it is. Ist a bit up the hill by foot. There is a path starting right across from.the other restaurant and Lodge on the main road. We were luck to find a parking spot but there are no official ones and just a very few by the road. You can walk there from Soler (maybe 1h) and it would...
