Rejected by the next door bar restaurant, whose kitchen opens after 8:30pm. We tried this Luis, instead. It turned out that we had best meals on Camino so far. Grilled meat, seafood and beans and fish soups, spicy potato wedges. All fanrastic and we think locals want to keep it as their hidden secret spot. 6 out of 5, but, disguised as 4 of 5. Also, this lovely, hard-working server lady gave u a good recommendation of soups. Success. 2 thumbs up.

Superb Pilgrim meal and excellent value. Not much open in the town at 6pm so the lovely restaurant behind the bar was a great find. A warm welcome from staff and absolutely delicious food. We had the stew of the day (Primo), being white bean and chorizo (delicious) and the braised beef (secondo). The red wine in a huge goblet was excellent. One of our best Camino pilgrim meals so far but some amazing other menu dishes seen served too.Thank you

Good value for money👌 I ordered a 4 courses menu inkl appetizers. HUGE portions. I especially liked the fried monster prawns and the fish soup. The ice-cream for dessert was also good. The entrecot as third dish was okay but less good (where are the vegetables - only 1 pepper) with just a handful of pommes fries and it was more well-done than medium. Though a nice staff and a place I will recommend for sure😋👌

I started with the 4€ chorizo rojo. It was a manly, greasy sausage packed with flavor, served with potatoes. I asked for a side of hot sauce, and I received a wonderful side of homemade sauce that was actually spicy (patatas bravas sauce).

I had the stew of the day. It was a thick potato squid soup with particularly tender squid. The serving size was more than generous for 9€ menu peregrino. My 2nd course was stewed meat. The meat (tendon part ??) was quite chewy but wonderful and packed with flavor. It was served with French fries (yummy ones!) And a wonderfully reduced brown sauce. Delicious.

Note: the server did forget he took all of my utensils between courses and I had to remind him several minutes after I received my food - he was serving over 25 people inside and out. Most of the negative reviews seem to be due to...

32 euro was the least expensive menu of the day on a saturday. Looking at the menu it looked great. I went for it because the main dish was steak. The included appetizers were ok, the grilled jumbo shrimp fine, but the stuffed red peppers were the kind you can buy in the grocery store. The first plate was a salad with fruit which had a great appearance but was just iceburg lettuce underneath the fruit. The real disappointment was the main attraction, the STEAK. The steak was probably one of the toughest and dryest pieces of meat that I've ever been served. The consolation was that wine was included, the whole bottle. Next was dessert. I chose the lemon mousse. What I got was lemon yogurt. I am being generous to rate the food 3 stars, given the...
