To experience that special moment that comes from eating at a phenomenal restaurant, whilst simultaneously feeling like you're at home, is a very rare thing. La Plaza spans those genres. The food, thanks to the guys and girls in the kitchen is without question some of the best Italian food I've ever eaten. The owner is a joy to watch, as he dispenses free cava from one hand whilst carrying Lima his bemused dog with the other. His son Sam, tirelessly working away behind the bar - chopping more sangria fruit than humanly possible. Nora, a French angel with her calm and humour holds it all together. This place, La Plaza, suited our family of four perfectly. It is perhaps not focused on kids or families with small children directly but the service made it feel that way.

We went here three times because of: Good service Kids can leave the table for the inner court. Good value for the money and the pizza is a safe bet here. The paella for 2 was a positive surprise. Nice flavours and generous sea food. I missed some salt and the typical, hard crust at the bottom, thats all.

3 of us called in on Thursday 7.7.2022. I had carbonara pen pasta and bacon the food was just warm and bacon all fat..Another meal was vegatable lassagne which was welded to the bottom of the serving dish. Wine ok so was the beer..Complained the staff was not interested and said thats how its served out.
