The Old Tavern — Restaurant in San Javier

We came here for my girlfriend’s birthday! The host could not be more comforting. As soon as we walked in the host greeted us with a great conversation. We played pool and darts and it was a great laugh with the bar staff who also got involved. We met some amazing people in there and everyone in the bar was friendly and welcoming. We decided to take the food home with us (you can also eat food in the bar) and it was absolutely amazing. Even though we took the food home with us it was still 10/10 as we was only about 8 minutes away from the bar. We got the bbq ribs and the chicken wings, which were probably the best ribs I’ve ever had (I’ve had a lot of ribs), and the chicken wings were cooked to perfection falling off the bone. Overall this place is amazing and the food is the best food that I have had since being in la manga. 10/10. In terms of what we spent we got 3x sex on the Beach cocktail. 6 x Guinness and 2x Heineken and food for €100. Wonderful place 10/10...

Have seen the staff on three occasions this evening short changing and also doctoring the measures of alcohol .witnessed them only giving a half measure to customer and rest in a glass of his own .then have the audacity to sit on the wall of the pool with their spoils drinking and smoking while the customers wait and wait on service but no waiters . How the boss can't see what's going on is beyond . Such a nice guy but I'm beginning to think too nice and their taking advantage. But there's gonna be no more tavern if he doesn't open his eyes . Sincerely hope boss you reads this...
