GREAT food. Very pleasant restaurant in tranquil surroundings. Lots of different rooms with outside space. Good service and fantastic flavour food. Great selection of tapas, main courses and desserts. Fantastic wines. Great alcohol selection. We were a party of 11 celebrating a birthday and started with a general selection of tapas, small finger food. Patatas Bravas, unusual as they were 1 inch cubes potato, deep fried crispy outside, fluffy inside. Delicious. Croquet, mashed potato with local jamon or squid with black ink. Tremendous flavours. Stir fried squid with onions. Super tender. Fresh breads. Plate of thinly sliced almost transparent local jamon. Incredible Main Duck breast with dauphnoise potatoes. Very tender. Steak tartar with thin crisp white toast. Perfectly seasoned. Crispy fat home made potatoe fries. Lamb cutlets. Tender and tasty. Fillet steak with fries. Pork belly with mash. Melt in the mouth. Half corn fed chicken. Succulent and tasty. Desserts. Too many to list but the lemon sorbet perfect to wash away all the rich...

Trato al cliente nefasto.

El pasado sábado por la noche, llamamos al restaurante para ver si había hueco en el jardín para cenar 2 adultos y 2 niños, ya que no habíamos hecho reserva con antelación. Hemos ido más veces, y sabemos que es importante reservar. Por teléfono, nos dijeron que no había sitio, pero que si nos acercábamos y esperábamos un poco, podría liberarse alguna mesa.

Fuimos, y avisamos nada más llegar al parking que no teníamos reserva, pero comentamos lo que nos dijeron por teléfono. Una vez dentro, repetimos lo mismo: no teníamos reserva, pero íbamos a probar a ver si se levantaba alguna mesa. Cuál fue mi sorpresa cuando un camarero me dijo que no había solo una, sino dos, mesas libres, y me dio a elegir. Elegí una mesa y nos sentamos. Pedimos una trona para nuestra hija pequeña, y nos la trajeron junto con las cartas.

Estábamos sentados los 4, viendo la carta, cuando apareció de repente Oscar Peña, jefe de sala, y sin saludar, ni tener un mínimo tacto con 4 clientes ya sentados en la mesa, nos dijo “tenéis reserva??” con un tono fuerte y de sorpresa. Le dijimos que no, pero que lo habíamos avisado varias veces. Nos dijo que nos tenía que levantar de la mesa, que tenía otros clientes con reserva en esa mesa. Y así, nos levantaron a los 4 y nos obligaron a dejar la mesa.

Una vez de pie, le comentamos nuestro disgusto por habernos levantado de la mesa. La culpa no fue nuestra sino del restaurante por comunicación y gestión interna. Pedimos la hoja de reclamaciones, y nos dijo que no nos la iba a dar porque no habíamos consumido nada. Insistimos, ya que estábamos en nuestro pleno derecho de poner una reclamación por el trato recibido antes de tener la oportunidad de consumir, y el restaurante nos dio la razón. Oscar Peña nos hizo ir a la recepción del restaurante para poder poner la reclamación.

De camino a poner la reclamación, el mismo Oscar Peña nos dijo que había consultado con sus compañeros en el jardín, y nos culpó de haber entrado y habernos sentado en la mesa por nuestra propia cuenta.

Ya poniendo la reclamación, nos admitieron otros del personal que eso efectivamente no había sido así, que había personal que había visto cómo nos sentaban y nos atendían.

Nos ofrecieron en ese momento alguna solución, como mover alguna mesa para hacernos hueco, pero dijimos que no, no después de ese trato y de habernos responsabilizado por mala gestión interna y llamarnos mentirosos.

No se levanta a una familia entera, con dos niños pequeños, de una mesa a las 10:30 de la noche. Nunca nos habían tratado tan mal en ninguna parte....

Not the waiters fault but unfortunately there is a clear lack of organization in this restaurant. Service was bad and slow.

We came on a Friday night, with reservation, to have the tasting menu.

We waited 20min to be seated and order when we were told that the tasting menu wasn’t available due to an event going on that night, no one warned us and we ended up seating outside but fine… we will order from the menu instead.

After ordering the food and being served starters (they forgot one…) we were told that the main dish that 2 of us ordered wasn’t available… I can’t recall the last time that this has happened to me in a restaurant. Can you imagine ordering, starting to eat starters to then be told that the main dish is not available?!

It’s a shame because food was great but I won’t come...
