One of the most beautiful beaches in Ibiza, Cala Bassa, has been all about CBbC for several years now. This beach club stretches like a ribbon along this beautiful half-moon-shaped bay.

Under the trees, you will find a beautiful boardwalk winding along various terraces, restaurant sections, bars, shops, massage areas, and sections where you can rent sunbeds.

If you want a cheap day at the beach, Cala Bassa is not the place to be. Parking costs €6 (including a water or a beer), and renting 2 sunbeds and an umbrella starts around €50-€60. However, specific sunbeds in better locations can easily cost up to €200 or even €500 for a group of 2 to 4. Often, the costs consist partly of the sunbeds and umbrellas and partly of a bottle of champagne (included) or a certain minimum spend.

The restaurants have a beautiful setting, with a beautiful view over the bay. The restaurants and the food and drinks are not cheap, but given the location and setting, they are reasonably priced. It is not as extremely expensive as, for example, Jondal, but it is not as cheap as some (also beautiful) “chiringuito” (beach huts) in equally beautiful spots (but more “low key”).

The atmosphere is overall fantastic if you like a beach with some action! There is a DJ whose music can be heard along the entire bay through interconnected speakers along the entire beach (which I estimate to be about 300-400 meters long). There are also regular extra performances by, for example, drummers, etc. Around the DJ/bar area, there is a good vibe in the afternoon.

It's really a beach that gets you in the mood for a fun beach day! But it's definitely for those with a big wallet if you go all the way.

A simple beach day is also possible here: just with your towel on the sand of the beach in the area where there are no sunbeds. In the low and shoulder season or in the late afternoon, you might still find some shade on the beach from some of the trees. You can also just get drinks at the bar.

There used to be a simpler snack bar/take-out for bocadillos, etc., at the very end of the beach. But this seems to have changed into a new restaurant section with seating and table service (so no take-out counter anymore). It's a pity that this is gone. I didn’t see the menu here because I only wanted to pick up a sandwich, but I didn’t see price lists or menus hanging like before (and so ordered a Club Sandwich (€27) on our sunbed instead). But it's a shame that this take-out point is no longer there.

You can also rent jet skis here. The water is beautifully blue, often without jellyfish. You have a beautiful view of the bay of San Antonio. Hardly any waves, most of the times.

Cala Bassa, along with Cala Comte, Cala Vadella, Cala Tarida, Cala Gracioneta, Cala Saladeta, and Cala d’Hort, is one of the beaches on the west coast of Ibiza that...

On Sunday, the second of July 2023, At about 8 o'clock P.m

while I was going in my car to Cala Bossa beach, there was a person standing at the entrance to the parking.. and before that, there were two cars that entered the parking without stopping them or asking them about the person standing.. and during my entry, he stopped me without any reason and he closed the gate and said where are you going.? So I told him to the parking l to go to the beach, and he told me that it is not allowed!! I said to him: What about those who entered before me without stopping them? He said that they are going to the restaurant.. Of course he is he cheated me because he did not stop them to know where they are going!! I said to him, "Well, I want to go to the restaurant." He said, "You are not allowed to enter unless you have a reservation." Oh my God, I don't know what's going on! So I left and parked my car at a distance of 500 meters because of this incomprehensible behavior, except for one explanation, that when he knew that I was not Spanish, then I went to the restaurant and drink my coffee, and when I asked the waiter, is it really forbidden to enter the parking lot unless there is a reservation in the restaurant ! He said: This is not true, contrary to what the person standing at the entrance of the cars told me .. It turned out to me that parking spaces are available for beach visitors in general ،،

A very bad and terrible experience.

Thank you for the reply, but he didn't tell me that I had to pay the parking fee. If he had said that, I would have paid the fees easily.. but what happened was ((he refused me entry completely)) !!

and now for the second year in Ibiza and the view of the place is beautiful. I will not visit this place because of the dark-skinned person at the entrance to the parking because bad behavior that happened to me last year... It is wrong to hire such a rude person in a place where people come to relax...

I have been a loyal customer of Cala Bassa Beach Club for quite some time, having visited multiple times during past vacations. However, my most recent visit was an absolute nightmare, filled with disrespect that has left me deeply upset.

The trouble began when we were charged for a bottle of champagne that we never ordered. Despite our protests, the staff insisted we pay for it. They not only refused to remove the charge but also overcharged us for other items on our bill. It felt like a blatant attempt to take advantage of us.

When we challenged these unfair charges, the situation escalated. The staff became increasingly aggressive and called over a man named Luis (or perhaps Ricardo), who proceeded to belittle and berate us in front of other guests. His behavior was appalling and left us feeling humiliated and threatened. This mistreatment appeared to be rooted in discrimination against us as females, which is completely unacceptable.

To make matters worse, Cala Bassa Beach Club canceled one of our bookings that we had paid for a month in advance, without any reasonable explanation. This added to the stress and disappointment, ruining what was supposed to be a relaxing holiday.

We still have two more bookings with Cala Bassa Beach Club, but after this incident, we are seriously considering canceling them. I paid over 500 euros for a day that left us feeling stressed, upset, and unwelcome.

As a loyal customer, I expected far better treatment. Instead, I feel discriminated against, disrespected, and deeply hurt by the way we were treated. I demand that Cala Bassa Beach Club management urgently reviews the phone recordings from that day and takes immediate action to address this issue. If this matter is not resolved promptly, I will escalate it to the police.

This was a holiday we were looking forward to, but Cala Bassa Beach Club has left us with nothing but a bitter taste. I hope no one else has to endure such an...

Premium Beachside Luxury Cala Bassa Beach Club delivers a great beach experience that justifies its premium pricing. The Taittinger area stands out as a serene oasis of calm, offering the perfect escape from the typical beach club chaos. This section provides an atmosphere of refined tranquility that makes the investment worthwhile. Booking a gazebo was absolutely the right decision as it transforms your day from simply visiting a beach club to enjoying a private luxury experience. The gazebo setup provides comfort, shade, and an exclusive feel that enhances every moment of your stay. The quality across food and beverages is genuinely excellent. Every dish we tried met high culinary standards, while the drinks were expertly crafted with premium ingredients. A special mention must go to the watermelon juice: it was absolutely sublime, fresh and perfectly balanced. It is these thoughtful touches that elevate the experience beyond typical beach club fare. Yes, this is expensive dining and drinking, but the quality, service, and overall experience make it worth every euro. You are paying for luxury, and you receive it The only compromise you will need to make is accepting that the beach itself gets quite overcrowded. This is simply the reality of Ibiza's popular spots during peak times, and honestly, it is a small price to pay for everything else the venue offers. Book aheax
