An absolute disgrace from beginning to end. We had a confirmed 20:30 reservation for a sunset dinner — not that it mattered, because the clueless hostess insisted it didn’t exist. Enter “manager” Omar, who openly admitted it was their fault but still refused to seat us, even though the restaurant had multiple empty tables in plain view. The level of incompetence was almost impressive.
We were dumped at the bar and waited over half an hour just to get drinks. After a full hour of standing around, Omar tried to pawn us off to a deserted section next door, El Silencio — an entirely different space, with no ambience, no guests, and no relevance to what we booked. We declined, obviously, so he then offered a sad little table in the back of the restaurant with zero view, defeating the whole purpose of why we came. Still, we tried to be reasonable. When we finally got shown to a decent table? Not enough chairs. Back to the bar.
Finally — a full hour and a half after our reservation — they shoved us into a low, awkward lounge table in the bar area, where you have to hunch over to eat like you're at a child’s tea party. And yes, there were still better terrace tables sitting empty. The negligence was beyond passive — it was willful.
Not once were we offered a drink on the house. Not once did anyone apologize. No one took ownership of the mess they created. To add insult to injury, on top of an outrageously priced menu of average izakaya fare, we were overcharged for drinks we never ordered. Zero compensation, zero accountability, and a staff that couldn’t care less.
Omar — who felt the need to name-drop his time at Nobu (laughable) — acted like a petulant child and claimed his "director" would not allow any concession. No professionalism, no grace, and when we asked for the legally required complaint book (hoja reclamaciones), he flat-out refused and raised his voice at us. Belligerent and totally unfit to be in any role involving human interaction.
Hands down the WORST service we’ve ever encountered anywhere. A total failure in every imaginable way — from reservation handling, to service, to basic decency. Avoid this place...
Read moreDon’t even bother! DO NOT CROSS THE ISLAND TO COME HERE. ITS NOT WORTH IT. We show up at 8:45 for our 9:00 sunset reservation. The restaurant has us wait inside and grab drinks before they seat us. After 30 mins we ask about our table, and witness others doing the same. Seems like everyone is mad they’re not being seated but every single table is empty. We missed the entire sunset while waiting, and finally when they seat us at 10pm…they give us the worst table in the back by the bathroom with no view at all. That was the last straw, we grabbed our stuff and started leaving. Told the manager our issue and he was just a complete idiot about everything. This place won’t last long under his leadership. He was chatting up friends the entire time and not even paying attention to paying customers. Wish I could say what the food was like but we didn’t stay long enough to try it. I own and run restaurants myself and have never treated anyone like that in my life. They should be ashamed. Such a...
Read moreWe were a group of 3 girls who wanted to have a lovely chilled out dinner with interesting yummy food and our expectations were met. (Angel) Gabriel was an amazing host and we felt very looked after. The subtle vinyl playing in the background was gorgeous and Cala Moli is such a beautiful backdrop. I’d read a couple of negative reviews in amongst the positives here, so I was slightly apprehensive as to what to expect. We tried the tasting menu, which was loads of food and each course offered a surprise. The starter of tuna on crispy rice with wasabi was stunning. Delicious tomato carpaccio, soba with shiitake and waygu carpaccio just a few of the treats we devoured. The chairs were a little uncomfortable, some cushions as an optional extra offered to guests on arrival would not go astray. I’d go again and would recommend. We had a fab night...
