Restaurante Opera — Restaurant in Sant Lluís

I’m actually chocked with the comments that say they like it and got relief with one that seems that saw what I’ve seen.. Never felt as bad at a restaurant like I did in here, not exaggerating at all! that made me feel like I just wanted to cry and I did was inside to then had to put a brave face to deal with them .. I was living in my car or camping due to the Menorca situation and bear in mind I’m a normal girl, no hippie no nothing,just classic and polite with a dog ( but even if I was) and I was having a bad day …I came in to have a meal and charge my phone, maybe use the toilets (wich I didn’t even dare after all this), asked if I could charge my phone and if they had gluten free pizza and they said no but they had gluten free pasta; so ok I’ll give it a try…I seat on a table and they didn’t seem to care to come serve me; everyone else but me and I could just feel the energy as I am an empath and very intuitive..there was something about me they cancelled ..I started to think if there was something wrong me, as also they were giving me the look specially what seem to be the manager very obnoxious and condescending like someone here also mentioned; I asked about the gluten free pasta but then gave up of it I don’t even remember why and what was the issue .. To then order a chicken with fries …and oh my God, the saltiest fries I ever had in my life, I love fries and I couldn’t finish them. I was so thirsty I had to drink so much water wich I knew I was risking it could stop my digestion and turned out I got sick and mind you not with that, but just overall I wasn’t feeling ok with fever. Also the other waitress kid was nice but was giving me a flirteous look, when I’m probably 10 years older than him, and that didn’t help the awkwardness but at least him cared to serve me and help … Will never go back and don’t recommend and I’m a content creator with a group on Facebook for Portuguese tourists here with more than 5k people growing everyday , and me that never doesn’t recommend anything cause each one their one experience and I don’t like to cancel a business but there is two that I do and will speak about, and this is one of those 2. So, lesson learned here: don’t judge someone by the look just cause they are camping in their car and need some sympathy and help; as they were only caring to serve big families and people they knew and that they knew had money wich I don’t know why they assumed I didn’t … And have in mind that I’m the most positive and loving zen person, so for me to do this it takes a lot , but when I say I arrived to my car crying, it’s true. I pray no one ever feels that here ever again. I wish them the best though, who knows they were feeling even worst than I was...

We were staying nearby this past week, we visited on our first afternoon only to be told they were shut - despite people eating. But we figured they were staff. He (possibly the owner? - he was the only person we ever saw there) said to return after 7pm, which we did. Food was excellent (although some of the order was wrong - we put that down to our terrible Spanish / Italian pronunciation!) Two days later I and a friend went to have a late lunch (well within the opening times, this time). We sat down only to be told that he would not be serving us. "no, not today". I wish I could tell you what we did to offend him - but obviously we did something wrong. I wouldn't say don't visit - the food was good. But be on your guard for...

The food at this establishment was passable—nothing to write home about, but decent enough. However, the service was an absolute disaster. We encountered an extremely arrogant Italian man who was unbelievably rude to us throughout our visit. His attitude was condescending and dismissive, making the entire dining experience uncomfortable. It's a shame because the food, while just okay, was overshadowed by the abysmal service. I can't recommend this place if you're looking for a pleasant...
