Thai Menorca La Boyera — Restaurant in Sant Lluís

I’ve been visiting Thai Menorca for over 13 years and I can hand on heart say they have the freshest, tastiest most authentic thai food you can find in Menorca. The owner, Werner and his partner Nina are extremely hard working and pour all of their energy into making Thai Menorca such a wonderful restaurant. The food aside, they offer THE best massages, extremely reasonable prices and my partner and I come for massages here regularly. They are as good as Thailand, if not better. Ana & Nina go out of their way to ensure you receive the best massage experience.

There are quite a few reviews claiming the owner (Werner) to be arrogant and rude. But here’s the truth from someone that’s known Werner for a long time. He’s a very kind man but he won’t tolerate idiotic behaviour (rightly so). So if you arrive at his establishment with an inconsiderate attitude, that’s on you. Be pleasant & patient and in return you will receive the same.

And as for some of the recent 1 star reviews alluding to the parking situation. These reviews are nothing but malicious lies intended to tear down a hard-working family establishment because they wish to park on private property, owned by Werner. What ever next? Free lunches at the restaurant?

Pay no mind to them, I assure you they are not true nor would Werner ever slash...

The owner was extremely rude. Since the moment we arrived, asking for a table, he kept a unwelcoming tone, sarcastic at some point. When we asked for chopsticks, he brought one pair. Since we were two at the table, it was quite obvious we meant for both of us, so we politely asked for mine as well. His answer in a violent tone: “ANYTHING ELSE?” To which I asked him to calm down. It was obvious he was having a bad day, excusing himself in “I cannot be a private waiter for every table”. We continued in an unpleasant exchange of words until he just gave his back On us and left. After a moment, he brought the chopsticks, we thanked him, ate quickly, paid and left.

The food was delicious, the staff was very nice. But the owner should not get into the restaurant business if he is going to treat customers this way. Or better yet: stay away from your customers and let the staff do...

My partner and I went to this restaurant while on holiday and found the owner to be very rude and arrogant. We did not book and it seemed he was offended by this and gave us a table at the back of the restaurant by the toilets, when we asked to move, he was not happy. My partner had been there during the day for a massage which was very good but he did not even ask if she enjoyed her massage, made no reference to her being there only a few hours earlier. There is no Thai vibe to this place inside the restaurant, however the food was delicious, pity about the owner.
