A magical experience with delicious food and warm-hearted staff!
I recently had the pleasure of visiting the Mas Gusó restaurant, and I must say that I am thoroughly impressed. The entire experience was simply enchanting and completely won me over.
The first thing that caught my attention was the warm atmosphere created by the staff. Despite the restaurant being busy, the team always took the time to greet us with a friendly smile and make us feel welcome. There were even a few funny remarks that made us laugh. This level of attentiveness and kindness truly made our evening special.
Now, onto the highlight of the evening - the food. The dishes at Mas Gusó are simply delicious. Every bite was a delight for the senses. The selection of dishes was diverse, and it was evident that a lot of care and attention to detail went into the cooking. The flavor combinations were excellent, and the presentation of the dishes was appealing. It's clear that a talented kitchen team is at work here.
But it wasn't just the food that impressed us; the location itself is truly enchanting. The restaurant is tastefully decorated and exudes a warm and inviting atmosphere. The attention to detail is evident in the careful design of the interior. The surrounding area of the restaurant is also charming, adding a special touch to the overall experience.
All in all, I can highly recommend Mas Gusó restaurant. The warm-hearted staff, delicious food, and enchanting location make this place an absolute hidden gem. Five stars are definitely not enough, as we were thoroughly impressed with our visit. If you're looking for an unforgettable culinary experience, you should definitely visit Mas Gusó restaurant. You won't regret it!
Thank you to the entire team for this wonderful...
Read moreDisapointing When you reach Mas Gusó you love it. It's in a wonderful space, surrounded by large gardens. When you look at the prices and the menu and the prices, it looks like a mid/high range restaurant. But then you look at the parking, and you see room for tons of cars (Lots of people). And that's kind of weird, but it's ok. We were an 8 people group. We went to the yard to enjoy some wines. Perfect. Then we get to the restaurant table. We are aware that the set menu has to be picked by the whole table. Two people didn't eat fish, and we ask for a change for these two people. They weren't flexible: Everybody or nobody. Ok, it's their rules. We then order by dishes. After ordering, we are being told that some of the dishes are finished. Ok, that's life. We reorder. They come back and told us that we need to change again. That's life. But more time waiting... We get the starters, and they were good, but nothing great. We then have to wait for around half an hour for the main dishes... we ask for more wine, and we wait also. This kills the mood. Main dishes, again, are good, but not worth their price. And the sizes, quite small. Each time a different waiter waits us, so probably this lack of control is due to that. And to the hundreds of people who are on...
Read moreI've been to this restaurant multiple times and I amazes me how busy it is. The outdoors entourage and the whole 'food directly from grower' seem to attract a lot of attention. And frankly I am wondering how this concept keeps working for them. Sure they offer a nice shop with pricey 'Mas Guso' logos for the better wine tastings. But nothing you can't find in the local Carrefour of other premium stores for half price. It seems they to get away with a lot of unpleasant and simple dishes for premium prices. We had a paella with prawns and other fish. It looked terrible, even the table next to us asked us what it should be. It seemed burned, which it wasn't, but over the top fishy with chewy parts in it. I'm not a fan of this dish but this is something I will remember, in a bad way. I had an highly food marketing dish, one tiny scoop of tasteless ice cream and a watery bowl of that could be canned pineapple for 7 euro. Any local ice cream maker would feel embarrassed. It's just too much of a hype. Anyone who has seen 'supersize me2' recognizes the marking behind what you find on your plate. You're paying for the nice seating arrangements and your imagination. Steer away and find a smaller real "local harvested...
