This is our second visit to Es Mirador. The restaurant itself is lovely, with a pleasant ambiance and very friendly, attentive service. However, once again, the food just didn’t quite stand out.
We may have been unlucky, but our recent experience left us underwhelmed. The seabass, while nicely presented, was clearly undercooked, the meat clung to the central bone and lacked the flakiness and texture you’d expect from a properly cooked fish. Read more1st or 2nd of July we were guests at this great restaurant. We have never eaten a "Pulpo a la Gallega" with such a tender octopus! It was marvelous! And there was much more octopus than potatoes (I have seen the other way round many times). Also the monkfishes (one grilled/a la plancha and one a la mediterana) were tender and juicy with tasty grilled vegetables or lots of yummy seafood at the side. And of course the service was great, courteous and heartily. Whenever we will return to Ibiza, we will be guests in Es Mirador again. I just get hungry again just writing this...
