Restaurant Can Curreu — Restaurant in Santa Eulària des Riu

I recently returned to Can Curreu with rather high expectations, based on my experience this summer, but unfortunately, the experience fell below every anticipation. Three elements, in particular, contributed to making this evening memorable for all the wrong reasons. Untapped Product Quality: I was disappointed by the lack of attention to the quality of ingredients. It seemed that the restaurant did not care to fully exploit the potential of the products used. The dishes, although presented attractively, failed to deliver that fresh and authentic flavor one would expect from such a venue. It appears that the kitchen did not fully utilize the available flavors and aromas, resulting in a culinary letdown. Nervous Atmosphere: The atmosphere inside the restaurant was anything but relaxed. A constant agitation pervaded the environment, with visibly stressed staff paying little attention to the needs of customers. The noise from the kitchen and the overall frenzy contributed to creating a nervous atmosphere that made it difficult to enjoy dinner in a serene and pleasant manner. Poor Quality and Unimpressive Dishes: Unfortunately, the dishes we ordered were well below expectations. Portions were meager, and the quality of ingredients seemed low. Not only were the dishes unappetizing, but the lack of care in preparation made the poor quality of the ingredients evident. This combination of small portions and low quality contributed to an overall disappointing gastronomic experience. In summary, the restaurant disappointed on multiple fronts, from the quality of the food to the chaotic environment. I don't know what happened since this summer, but I hope that the management can consider these aspects and make significant improvements to provide a more enjoyable experience for...

"We ordered from the menu, and my experience at the Can Curreu restaurant was extremely disappointing. I was shocked to find the poor quality of the food served; what was presented seemed more like reheated dishes rather than fresh plates. The fish was dry, and eventually, I discovered it was part of the Christmas menu, evidently reheated without care. This completely ruined the gastronomic experience. The service was equally disappointing, with inattentive staff who seemed uninterested in ensuring a satisfying experience. For a restaurant that promises high-quality cuisine, it was a total disaster. I don't think I'll return, and I absolutely cannot recommend Can Curreu. What leaves me doubtful is that we had come in September, and everything was excellent. I mentioned this to the waitress, but she showed no interest...

Second time we have stayed here at Can Curreu. Even though we live in Ibiza all year round, we like to come for one night as a special treat. Extremely enjoyable both times. Everything is pristinely clean, the staff are professional yet unobtrusive, gardens are gorgeous and we very much enjoyed the tasting menu dinner for Valentine's Day. Spa and our massages were excellent. Oh, and we came back to go horse riding and that was great too! Lovely horses and super lovely lady called Marita who took us out for a morning ride. Only suggestion - champagne flutes in the suites pls! As that's the only thing to mention, we'd 100%, highly recommend staying at Can Curreu. Thank you and see...
