Vegan eatery with gestapo like personnel.
Try to order in “Wild beets” for 70€ and try to express your opinion about one of their dishes. Service and customer satisfaction clearly means nothing to this people. On the menu they offer the “summer roll”: which in reality is a “cabbage roll”: the height of chefs imagination was to shred fresh white cabbage, red cabbage, carrot, put tiny piece of avocado, (that was lost in all of that cabbage) and roll it in a rice paper. How they calculated its 15€ cost, is still a mystery.
Impossible to eat, dry and tasteless and chili/mango sauce they put next to it, does not make it any better.
Sad that they have no idea how to talk to customers in the polite and correct manner, the only thing they managed to say is: “This is our best seller and we don’t give money back”. Last thing I need is to be treated like a beggar who came back for 15€, having already spend 70€. Especially I do not care how many of this cabbage rolls you sell, it tells me absolutely nothing.
This place needs a lot of learning how to talk and deal with customers and a lot of work on their menu: that is unbalanced. Customer is always right is something they still need to understand and learn.
Good luck with cabbage roll, however may be it is best seller because there is nothing...
Read moreWe went there because of the good ratings. Unfortunately after our first visit I was so put off that I didn't give it another chance anymore during our vacation.
The waitress was so arrogant and unfriendly; I have never experienced such bad service before. We felt incredibly unwelcome and unappreciated. Also, the service was so slow (which we didn't get why). We also felt like other customers (maybe regulars) were served quicker than us, even though they were only drinking one coffee while working on their laptop.
We arrived shortly before 1 pm, so we still had the breakfast menu.
Ordering the toasts, we had expected a bigger portion for the price. The vegan salmon tostada was very delicious, the one with fresh spinach and vegan egg was a bit bland, no egg taste at all. The smoothies were great.
So we were still hungry but the restaurant was full of people and therefore the service super slow. After eating, we asked whether we could already order lunch menu and the waitress just said no... so we left hungry and actually went to another restaurant afterwards.
Sadly disappointing. A good service is really important but it seems line they didn't care about us since they already have...
Read moreLove the vibe, like that it's all vegan and gluten free.
However, the food is simply not good. Not terrible, but it's not tasty or enjoyable food. All mains are like 20e /each or above. There's no reason on this island, especially kind of in the middle of nowhere where this joint is, to have prices this high. You would think at least with high prices comes quality food, well not here.
We tried 4 items: summer rolls, chili, mezze platter and big salad with macadamia cheeze (or maybe it was another kind of vegan cheeze).
The sauce for the rolls was bad and tangy, the veggie stick for the mezze were bad (cucumber was slimy and half frozen, probably kept too long in the back of the fridge). The cheeze on the salad taste sour/rinced.
We have been vegan for 8 years and ate at many restaurants, everywhere so it's not out first time. I just don't understand how a great concept and 'healthy' food can simply taste bad. Either no one but the chef ever tried it, or whoever tried it lied and said it was good. We would not come back or...
