Just had a fab meal, greeted and made to feel so welcome. We called in 7pm and the early diners. The lovely lady who served was very kind, although we don't speak Spanish and her English was limited we were served everything we required. The chef was amazing, he came and explained what some of the dishes were!! We choose a massive mixed salad,( had chicken, prawn, 🥑, variety of toms a special dressing*), plus fried smoked cheese, plus prawns and mushrooms in garlic, also canary pots ( had a spicy sauce).. all the above are starters, but we like to nibble.. The meats in the fridges looked very appealing. The chef did state that 9pm was the busy time so go accordingly. We sat downstairs but there is an upstairs area!! Not wine drinks so bottle beer for us!! Tropical. Chef asked if we wanted iced glasses but declined ,( December is a bit nippy) The place is spotlessly clean, toilets downstairs are immaculate. There is background music but nothing invasive. Our total bill was 52€ We thoroughly recommend in fact will be back with friends in a few days time!! Family run restaurant a bit ”off” from main tourist areas but definitely worth a detour if you appreciate GOOD food.
Rent a car or take a taxi! You will not regret it.
We shared several starters e g vongole, gambas and octopus. All fresh, tasty and cooked to perfection by the chef.
For main course we picked a really fine piece of dry aged meat (on the bone) which was grilled rare and cut in pieces by he chef and then grilled by ourselvels on a gas table grill. Really nice way to share and also making it possible for everyone to get ”their” steak grade.
