La Frontera — Restaurant in Santander

The staff were really friendly and welcoming. I dont speak Spanish, as its my first day in Spain but they were really patient and helpful and even translated the menu for me, offering honest recommendations. The food was nice and they have a good selection of drinks too, including teas. The atmosphere was also great. It felt like home from home. Really cant fault them. If I was staying in Santander longer id definitely be back....

Alucinando. Estuvimos en la terraza. Tanto nosotros como otras mesas estábamos fumando ceniceros en las mismas mesas. Nos informa el propietario que no se puede fumar. No lo sabíamos. Instantes después el mismo en la misma terraza se enciende un cigarro con otros clientes en otra mesa y se sienta con ellos también fumando. Supongo que los que no podíamos éramos nosotros ya que parece ser que a las viejas que teníamos al lado que también fumaban y eran amiguitas suyas que estuvo hablando con ellas las molestaba nuestra conversación ya que nos mandaron callar de muy malas maneras chistandonos cm si fuéramos perros. Las rabas caras, pocas, saladas y no creo que fueran...

The staff were incredibly accommodating to me and my partner's inability to speak Spanish. The food and drinks were excellent and the atmosphere was like that of a local bar from home. I would recommend this place...
