Cafestore Santomera Mar — Restaurant in Santomera

I use the cafes on both sides of the highway. Originally it was a convenient stop for me when flying in and out of Alicante, (I live near Velez Rubio), but now I drive to and from scotland. It means I am thankfully at the end of my journey south, or prepairing myself for my journey north. Although it is next to the road it has a peaceful feeling about it, not overcrowded and a need to hurry you through. It is always clean, no matter what time of day or night I stop. The staff are polite and professional, even with my limited Spanish. They also must clean their coffee machines on a regular basis, as I have never had a bad tasting coffee here. I am visiting again and forgot to mention the air conditioning is pleasantly refreshing.

Update 27th Feb 2025 Stopped on for breakfast.. The Spanish equivalent of a "bacon roll and coffee". Delicious I added a picture.

We have been in this place many times. Very good food, but the last time we were there my husband forgot his bag with passport, wallet w/all his bank card,ID and cash.
