Located in the heart of Seville’s Macarena district, El Arepazo Sevilla is a delightful Venezuelan bar that delivers a warm, authentic experience in a peaceful setting. Nestled on a quiet street, the bar offers inviting outdoor seating that's perfect for warm evenings. The terrace tends to fill up quickly during peak hours, so it’s a good idea to reserve in advance. There's also cozy indoor seating available, maintaining the same laid-back charm.
We kicked off the evening with a Zulia, a crisp Venezuelan beer, and a cocktail made with Lulú fruit and rum. The cocktail was a standout—refreshing, lightly citric, and the perfect choice for a summer night. It set the tone for the flavorful experience ahead.
Our first bites were tequeños, a Venezuelan classic. They were perfectly fried with a satisfying cheese pull. The accompanying sauces—a regular mayo and a delicious garlic mayo—were a great match, especially the garlic one which added a zesty kick.
Then came the star of the evening: the arepas. Each of us had one, and they were splendidly done—crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and generously filled with flavorful cheese. Every bite felt like comfort food at its finest.
Service was friendly, fast, and efficient. We ended up staying longer than expected, sipping on a couple more Lulú cocktails and enjoying the vibe. If you’re a fan of Venezuelan food, El Arepazo Sevilla is a...
Read moreWow what a bad service and food, I was so excited to have Venezuelan food in Spain. When my full party arrived the service became very slow to the point, they kept forgetting things that we ordered. Each time they did bring out the food they would leave the empty plates and glasses on the table. When it came to paying the bill we called 2 waiters but they didn't come and only when half of us were leaving the other 2 were waiting for a take away box and to pay is when they came. It's very disappointing because I've had better Venezuelan in south London than here. I was expecting good service and food but that was a let down. Good customer service and delicious food goes hand in hand. They missed the memo...

The service was a bit odd because we don't speak Spanish and only one person could speak any English, but he was really busy most of the time. I think the other server was avoiding us because of our lack of Spanish, but we managed to use Google translate to get through the visit just fine (once he realized we had that, he was less hesitant to...
