Punta Roca — Restaurant in Sitges

I’ve been to this place twice now. I really like the concept, and the location has a lot of potential — but my most recent visit was honestly shocking due to the behavior of the bartender.

Right before me, a customer had been waiting over 10 minutes for a simple coffee. When she politely asked about it, he told her, “If you want to leave, just go.” She had already paid, and ended up walking away without her drink — meaning he essentially took her money. That already left a bad taste.

Then, when it was my turn to order (just ice creams and waters for my kids), the hostess — who had witnessed the whole scene — asked him gently, “Are you okay?” His sarcastic response was, “Why? What’s wrong?” She came around to help him anyway, and that’s when he started talking down to her — his own coworker — right in front of everyone. I finally said something: “Hey, enough. That’s not fair — she’s helping you.” He turned to me and said, “Don’t get involved.”

I told him I am involved — I’m a customer. I reminded him that if he can’t handle customer service, maybe he’s in the wrong profession. And rather than engaging like an adult, he started mocking me like a child: “I’m not listening, I’m not listening.” It was completely unprofessional and uncomfortable for everyone nearby.

What’s even more concerning is that someone who looked like the owner (possibly his father — they were very similar) was nearby the whole time and didn’t step in.

This wasn’t just a bad mood — this was someone actively disrespecting customers and coworkers, possibly even scamming someone out of a paid drink. And no one addressed it.

I left with my items and didn’t escalate further, but honestly, if I had said one more word, I wouldn’t be surprised if it had turned into a physical confrontation. That’s how tense and unstable the situation felt.

This place deserves better. The rest of the staff seemed kind and professional, but this one person ruined what could’ve been a nice experience. If management doesn’t address this, I won’t be returning — and I wouldn’t recommend others risk the...

Great place and atmosphere, but the service and food left it down completely. We spent whole day there so spent enough money with them, sun loungers, parasol, lunch and cocktails throughout the day, but when we got to dinner we kind of got ignored. We had to chase several times to have our order taken, people seated after us were receiving food before us. Food arrived, I was presented mine and they took it back to debone, my partner had finished his meal before they came back with my dish which by then was cold through. Updated July 25- last time here it wasn’t a good experience. We ordered starters and the waited over 25 minutes for our main dishes to arrive. We ordered grilled fish, and it was cold and a lot smaller than usual. The waitress asked, we told her and they did nothing. One of us ordered coffee, they didn’t even offer to comp it.
