Super food, great host and satisfied all our tastes! We stayed in Cala Bona and wanted to try somewhere further up the coast. After reading the reviews on Google and Trip Advisor, we decided to give Restaurante David a go. We were not disappointed and would put this meal down as the best of the holiday. We, consisted of 2 adults who want authentic Spanish food, a fussy 4 year old (who wants beige with chips) and an 11 month old who will try anything! David the owner introduced himself and was warm and welcoming, we didn't feel like conspicuous English tourists at all. Starters were tasty (ham on bread) not just any ham on bread, soft tomato infused bread with layers of thin ham and roasted salted peppers (recommended by David himself), the lamb chops for mains were cooked to perfection, the accompanying salad, chips and vegetables were so tasty and flavoursome. And the almond cake for dessert was the icing on the cake, it was sublime. I might even visit there again, just for the almond cake. Price-wise, it was really good value for money and good sized portions...

We went as a family of 4. Say yes when they ask if you want bread. We usually decline to ensure we leave room for the main meals but chose to have some as the kids(teens) were starving. The bread were amazing. Soft in the middle, crispy on the outside. To go with the bread, there were two kinds of olives. The yellow ones were amazing, coming from someone who usually don't like any that I've tried in North America. The other sauces were amazing too.

Out of all the dishes, our fav were the clams. Sauce was very well seasoned.

The best part, the waitress was amazing. Even though she couldn't speak English very well, she understood us perfectly and even made recommendations. They even gave us a plate of pimentos on the house.

The kids ordered lasagne and spaghetti bolognese and loved it. They also love patting the cat that was hanging out at the restaurant.

We were there around 5pm on a Tuesday and it was super chill. Owner looks like he knows everyone. A...

We enjoyed every moment of our visit to Restaurante David! Our host and owner David made us feel right at home. Our waitress was just lovely, a kind and gentle soul.

The wine was just right, but we must say that the water bottles were a nice surprise. They are meant to have zero environmental impact. What a beautiful effort.

The food was superior. We ordered ham and Mellon which was delightful. Our host David treated us to a fantastic pepper tapas without us even asking!

Our dinner was a special order, black paella. The shrimp and squid were just delicious, and the special black squid ink colored the rice and added a very unique flavor.

Can't wait to return. Five...

Went to a friend’s dinner on a weekend evening. No wait and wonderful table outside. Enjoyed dorada (they have a local catch of the day menu) melon with prosciutto, and peppers. They additionally have bread, olives, and various spreads to kick off the meal. All were amazing. With our meal they gave potatoes and salad. Portions were big but the quality was not lacking. Delicious, plenty of selection, and quality ingredients. Would come back.
