Although the food was good and friendly staff, the restaurant management was terrible and ruined the whole experience. We had booked a table via “the fork” and once at the restaurant they told us we didn’t have a table (although I got two emails confirming the reservation). The management was quite unprofessional and did not offer any solution to our case but siting in at the (cold) terrace and paying a supplement of 15%, which of course we didn’t want to do just because their reservation system did not work. They never apologized and indeed blamed it on us. No surprises This is a decent hotel restaurant with recipes that are local for the most part. The staff is well trained and the ambiance is pleasant. There is a nice variety to the menu. We had dinner there and it was good sustenance and not overpriced. The breakfast buffet also has no surprises. In the past I have enjoyed every parador stay I ever had. This is no exception. Íbamos de paso y nos hablaron muy bien del sitio. La localización muy bonita pero la carta un tanto aburrida. La ensalada tenía más ingredientes de envases que frescos y cuando te apetece una ensalada lo ultimo que quieres en ella son zanahorias cocidas de bote, maíz de bote, brotes modernos, pasas, frutos secos picados y una especie de compota que tenía gusto a "potitos" de bebes, seguramente conservado en otro bote. No me gustó nada y me encantan las ensaladas!! Nunca comí una tan poco natural ya que más de la mitad de los ingredientes eran eso, de envases, no de huerta. Igual yo estoy acostumbrado a otra cosa. Mucho relleno para mi gusto, prefiero que sea más sencilla pero que sea de verdad, no de botes y envases. De segundo paletilla de ternasco que para mí estaba bien de sabor pero algo pasada de punto, imagino que llevaría hecha más tiempo del debido. De postre un Coulant de chocolate que de nuevo no era nada casero. Igual que los que hay en el super, industriales!!
