Chicken? A daring choice for the risk-takers. Ours was playing a game of 'rare or medium-rare' – spoiler: the chicken won.
Payment? Ah, the grand finale! The card machine was 'broken' - a classic move. We almost expected to wash dishes for our sins of indulgence. Could they have told us before we sat down? Certainly, but they decided to keep that as a plot twist.

We had the alcachofas (artichokes ) and they were possibly the best we’ve ever had in Spain. Then the steak tartar which I’m not a fan of. But it was really good and presented spectacularly. The rabo de toro was quite possibly the best we have ever had in any restaurant in Spain. And we have been to many many restaurants all over Spain. We were told that Crujiente de atun was removed from the menu and the Rabo de torro was unavailable. We went for their “best” and most expensive steak, which is paid by 100grams.
