I thought people from Andalucia were the nicest in Spain until I got to this place. Do not misunderstand me. The place is beautiful but the personal there is so impolite. There was a concert, I stopped by to take a video and suddenly a tattooed guy approached Me. He was so rude!!! I didn’t even understand what was he saying (and I’m native Spanish speaker). Finally the problem was that I had a beer and should immediately leave the place. I did so and I stood in the public way to the beach, to finish my beer and go back to listen to the concert. Nonetheless, This guy approached again with a even more impolite manner Everybody looked at us. He said the public PATH to the beach, the only way to reach the beach, was also theirs. I decided to drank the beer top to bottom, to avoid any conflict. And he went mad!! And even threatened me with some kind of “stronger methods” to kick me out OF A PUBLIC Path” (I wonder whether he had a line of C, a few minute ago). The he raised his hands to my friend who came wondering about the situation. Finally, we said that we should leave in a peaceful way and we did.
I’ve never written any bad review about anyone or anyplace but, this was outrageous. Again, it was not the place, it was this very impolite man who expected me to be intimidated but him, and seriously he probably never had any type of manners in his life. Good vibes were rapidly killed by this dude. Cheers man, have some weed instead, so you chill out and be a nice person in such a...
Read moreWhat a horrible experience and disgusting place this is. I can’t recommend going with kids there. First of all the food quality is so poor and overpriced. The toilets dirty and for the shower you need to pay. Ok , fine I wanted to pay for the shower for my little child but the lady working there at the toilets today with the pink top (the cashier lady) was DISRESPECTFUL, AGGRESSIVE AND against little children. I never experienced this. I told her wait I need to shower quickly my child and my bags were not next to me to give her the money right away. She shouted and said give it now or go. I explained her that I’ll take a second to get my bags and give her the money. She was insulting me in front of everyone and asked me to leave and let other people go first even tho I was queuing long time before. Then my partner gave her the money and told her clearly to treat me with respect when having a little crying child who needed quickly to get a shower to get clean and to wait a second with respect to get the money. For 50 cent ??? We are talking about 50 cent! For a little child who needed a shower after the beach She shouted at him as well and insulting him in front of all the beach guests. This happened today around 7pm. Can’t recommend this place and don’t visit...
Read moreIt's a lovely spot but we had to pay £5 to park only to find that the restaurant/bar itself didn't take cards so we had to share a couple of dishes with the little cash we had. The choice of food is very limited but the non-self-serve buffet, which is a huge pile of food, was plain but good value for €11. What really annoyed me was being told we couldn't sit on the restaurant garden while waiting for the kitchen to open because of the closed cool-bag that we'd brought to give the kids a drink and snack later in the day. Even worse was that the restaurant had no toilet except a private toilet next door (owned by the parking gang I believe) that charged 20 euro cents per use. Why the restaurant doesn't have a bathroom I don't know but if they did build one it would have cut into the parking/toilet guys profits and maybe theres some 'pressure' from them not to build one. If we'd been able to eat and drink with a payment card I would have drunk more and would have been fuming after my fourth trip to the bathroom. Sad to pay for drink only to pay again to wee it out!
If you like kite-surfing or just watching it it's a perfect spot as there's a kite surf shop just there.
Could have been a great experience but they need to sort the card payments and shocking...
