I arrived in La Graciosa today. I was looking for a restaurant to have dinner. There are not many opened now. So I read some reviews about this one. They didn’t sound nice. Actually, this restaurant has the lowest score. Anyways, I decided to give it a try. The food is correct, fresh and tasty. Service was really pleasant. Indeed, there is a man here that seems grumpy and I guess you were referring to him in your comments. I have to say he’s actually nice. More than that, he even stopped me from ordering more food, telling me that the food is enough. Made me laugh, but he was right. Also, there is a young lady that’s super warm and made me feel like home. My point is- you can’t expect people to be nice to you if you’re not nice. Plus, this island has a very laid back atmosphere. If you’re searching for a pretentious service, this is definitely not the place for you.

*bonus, I also had good company for dinner. Made a new furry friend.

There are very few options for to grab a bite to eat on the island, however if there was a perfect beach bar this is a fine example. The moment I sat at the table and looked over to a beach, people in the water, boats, and sunshine, I realised this venue helped make my holiday too good to be true.

You sit down and the smells that hit you make you want to order what is cooking at that moment in time. This place saw us visit twice after initially having an amazing lunch made with produce that tastes hours fresh. Then we decided to return the same evening for dinner. The staff are very welcoming and chilled, making us feel very relaxed showing they have confidence in the good food they serve. My only disappointment was I didn't get to return a third time, but...

Fuy a la graciosa de excursión nos sentamos ahí y nos dieron mesa de inmediato pedimos un arroz caldoso y unas sardinas , se acerco el camarero y dijo que no había sardinas y podria poner en su lugar boquerones que son muy parecidos...vengo del sur de Cádiz sé diferenciar una sardina de un boquerón así que dije que no , y pedí unas croquetas, tardaron entorno a 30 minutos en atender estaban saturados porque es cierto que había mucha gente que no tenía mesa ..pero vi la insistencia en qué una chica que estaba esperando su comida se mantuviera en la mesa , y la chica tenía a su hija a escasos metros en la playa con lo cual estaba observándola , le pregunté al camarero cuanto tardaría el arroz no por meter presión , si no porque tenía que tomar el ferry de regreso a las 16:00 y era las 15,15 aprox y no había comida en la mesa , el señor me respondió con mal tono y me dijo que el arroz tenía que hacerse a fuego lento y tardaría otros 20 minutos más esto ya detallando el tiempo que llevaba sentada sin comida en el plato..llegó por fin el arroz en la carta pone 12€ por persona (paella para 2) y mi sorpresa llega cuando tengo que pagar 65€ se ve que hay un mínimo para la paella y no es de dos comensales , y me incluyeron las sardinas que jamás me comí , evidentemente lo comenté y me quitaron solo 2 euros de la cuenta y con quejas ..se cobra el que te atiendan en mesa etc , es cierto que la ubicación el lugar merece el dinero y la comida...pero el arroz caldoso no me gustó en absoluto tenía mucha variedad de pescado y marisco pero el sabor en sí a mí en lo personal no me gusto , en cuanto al personal supongo que el trato no amable se debería a la presión por el trabajo ..pero un trabajo cara al publico es lo que tiene , yo también trabajo cara al publico y tengo que contentar al cliente no espantarlo , me faltó amabilidad y cortesía ...la gente que vamos de vacaciones vamos a desconectar no a ver malas caras y malas...
