We had a very good lunch at La Maria. It is a short drive from the Fondacion Manrique which makes it ideal for lunch after visiting the latter. We had a range of homecooked dishes, fried cheese, prawns in garlic, Canary potatoes, albondigas, with wine & beer. It was all good. The prawns were delicious. The cheese was cooked in a beautifully light, crispy batter. Emilio, our host, was a friendly guy who showed us the huge trophy he had won for wrestling. The atmosphere was very Spanish. Read moreSuch a fantastic surprise. Stressing out because we had to catch our flight, and with 4 kids needed to find a place to eat this was the best place ever. The owner was the nicer person. We had lunch with an amazing view for one of the mountains. And the food was AMAZING! The fried cheese, meatballs, croquetes, gambas, and octopus, everything was amazing.
