When we arrived there was a small queue. We stood at the counter choosing some rolls and waiting our turn but after about 5 minutes waiting to be served we realised that other customers were coming in after us and were being served before us. There were lots of staff and they seemed very friendly with the other customers but we were totally ignored. At one point a member of staff looked straight passed us to a young woman behind us and served her. It was as if we were invisible. I have read other reviews about poor service and a feeling that this bakers is only for local people. This was exactly how we felt and we left without buying anything and went to Teguise where the local restaurants are much more tourist friendly and got some food there. I would love to hear why you...

The sweets and breads were truly delicious, freshly made and full of flavor.

However, there were two important things that negatively affected my experience.

First, the lady who prepared my tostada didn’t remove her glove when taking my cash, and then continued preparing the food with the same glove. Hygiene is essential in food service, and this was a serious oversight.

Second, the shop seems to be understaffed. There’s a long line, and it takes quite a while to place an order. The staff are clearly doing their best, but they work nonstop without a break and that can affect both the service and hygiene standards.

I hope these issues can be improved, because the quality of the products really deserves a better...

I've been coming here for many years, Food is great but the service is so SLOW that is now a sourse of anxiety for me and other customers in the queue... A message for the owners, please separate the servers into 3 stations (drinks - 1 person, till and cakes - 1 person, bread and bocadillos - 1 person) this way each customer transaction will move 3 times faster...when you work a station you are focused, organised, not overlaping coworkers moving patterns and perfecting the efficiency of what you are doing. Workers can switch stations during the day.. Right now, everyone is doing everything all at the same time and it CHAOS...:(

P.S. please fix the parking lot surface, it is turning into a 4x4...

Muy bien, muy delicioso y barato. We've been here a few times 10 years apart and both times the cakes, coffee and service have been good. What I didn't appreciate before was that two coffees, two cakes and two bread rolls cost less than a coffee and a cake back home in Brexitania. The staff were friendly and helped me as I used my weak Spanish to order. Using good will, pointing and the hybrid language of Spanlish we got what we wanted. The only downside is the location which means most will need a car to get there.

Just got back from Lanzarote. We went here most mornings (they are shut Monday and Tuesday). We usually had the smoked salmon roll which is lovely with a cafe con leche (their coffee is bloody lush!) followed by a pan de Naranja (orange bread) which is sweet and has fennel in it, it's incredible. All the staff are excellent and spoke English when my broken Spanish failed me. Thank you for all the beautiful breakfasts X
