We booked this restaurant based on the reviews we read. We checked the pictures online and wanted to give this a try. We love to walk so we left home 1,5 hour before to do some sight seeing around the restaurant. I will add a few captions. The surroundings are beautiful and amazing. When we arrived they welcomed us with the most delicious sake cocktail I have ever tasted. You will never forget the taste of this one. Unfortunately you can’t order this off the menu because is exclusive for the welcoming. I would recommend them to add this on the menu though.

We were guided to the perfectly set table. My bestie loves sushi so she ordered different kinds of sushi. The salmon melted on your tongue. Everything was so perfectly displayed and tastes even better as it already perfectly looked. Literally everything was so freshly made! The gyoza’s were OMG. The pan bao’s were as fluffy as clouds. The beef inside these buns was seasoned top notch! I don’t know how but everything we ordered was perfectly perfectly prepared and on the table in no time. I ordered the chicken tikka masala, and could ask for more rice if preferred. The chicken was so juicy! The wakame salade was incredible too. Literally everything was so delicious. I couldnt help myself not to do the little yummy dance with every bite. The japanese sour sop cocktail was yumyumyum 😍🤭

We did not try the desserts because we were absolutely satisfied and had no room in our tummy for more.

The prices are a bit higher than the local restaurants but absolutely worth every penny!

The service was 100% !!

Definitely coming back!

Well. They do their best, but I can't recommend the Korean part of the menu. This has multiple reasons which I also explained to the staff.

The starters were great. We certainly enjoyed those. They also served me, on my request, their home made kimchi which was okay.

However, the main course was a disappointment. The supplied grill plate was not up to the job. As it is quite windy at Lanzarote the steel plate cooled down so fast we could not reasonably prepare the meat. The squid was doable, but also took a long time. The mushrooms were also not terrific. As the grill plate did not heat up enough the mushrooms soaked up all the oil and did not grill or bake. So not very tasty. Someone else already mentioned the rice being cold once you start eating the heated meat/fish. I can confirm this is the case. I would like to add, when you supply chopsticks, and no spoon. Make sure your rice is sticky and not loose. Eating the rice was painstakingly slow. But practice makes perfect.

I shared my experience with the staff and offered some recommendations.

We were offered a reduction of the bill which I appreciated. So kudos for that.

My wife simply said, it may be wise to remove the Korean dishes from the menu as she had a hard time recognising the offered food as Korean.

Will be back later this year and see if there is improvement.

Very friendly and supportive staff. Very clean and...

I've never had Sushi before, but I will again now that I've tasted it.

My partner loves fish, I've never been a fan but we went to Koi in Costa Teguise, Lanzarote for a different kind of meal from our normal. I had no idea what most of the items on the menu meant but was willing to try them. First of all, we confirmed there were nuts in nothing (one of us has an allergy) and was shown how the menu guide worked.

I told them I had no idea what most of the items meant as had not had Japanese food before, the waiter suggested a taster set that would give the different styles for a starter and some Korean-style foods for the mains. We took this up and found it to be surprisingly tasty - not something I was expecting. My thoughts were along the lines of my partner will love this and I'm going to hate it. I was pleasantly surprised.

The Korean foods were a prawn dish and a beef dish which we cooked to our liking at the table. My beef one was delicious although my partner didn't enjoy the prawns so much but we ate everything.

The staff were very friendly and attentive and provided drinks as needed. We enjoyed our meal and think if we returned would go for more of the starters than the mains but all...
