Foreigners/children not welcome
I wanted to eat some tapas at the kiosco with my wife and my 2 year old son on a trip. We arrived after 12 o' clock (the kiosco opens at 12 o' clock!?) and asked in Spanish in a friendly way if we could eat there. The owner (?) only said "cerrado" and "30 minutes" in an unfriendly way. So we walked through Tijarafe and returned to the kiosco after 45 minutes. Local people were already having drinks and snacks in front of the kiosco. When I asked again if we could eat something the man only said in an extremely rude way "cerrado".
Obviously foreigners/children are not welcome at the kiosco. He could have said right away that we are not welcome and would have saved us a 45 minutes wait.

Read moreLocated aside of Tijarafe main road, next to the town hall. It is a mid-size booth with many tables around it. It is well distributed around something like a town square. There is easy parking nearby, at least on holiday days, might be difficult on working days.
They have a large menu for the small size of the place. Food can be local dishes as well as standard junk food, either of them fairly delicious. Waiters are friendly and efficient.
Be aware that their is no in-door space in this business. It can be chilly if clouds come down on Tijarafe or sun gets cover/down. It would be worth having some blankets available for the guests.

Read moreCould be a 5 stars place if the owner was not so greedy to have only 1 chef and 1 waiter/barman! Compliment to the poor slave workers! They have to serve 50 people alone! Too much! You can wait 1 h before they take you some food or wine! Which is very good! But come on ... And the music very cool! Such a beatifull place! Dear owner pay 2/3...
