I went there with three other people for dinner and have been looking forward to visiting this place for quite some time now as it was showing as temporarily shut in Google Maps. Unfortunately, it didn't live up to my expectations.
Firstly, it is recommended to reserve a table to get the table of your choice. The menu is very interesting and I would have liked to try more of the starters. The staff also seemed rather friendly. My friends ordered the Bravas porky (shared starter), hamburguesa pages, hamburguesa Bravo, and vegan Pepito. They all enjoyed their food and said they would return. I had the hamburguesa Porky's and disagree (though I would return if my friends asked to go there) and definitely order something else.
I was not particularly impressed by the pulled pork. It felt like it had been made quite some time ago and was just sitting in a pot somewhere and later plopped onto the bravas and on the veg in hamburger buns unenthusiastically. :( They could have at least microwaved it for a minute or two. Rather disappointing considering this is the most expensive burger (doesn't come with a patty though, be advised!) The only saving grace for me were they hand cut chips that came with the burger. The bravas were also not as warm as I prefer them to be and all-around unremarkable.
I hope to be proven wrong if I ever go back...
Read moreAt first, I was a little bit sceptic about eating burgers in Spain. We went for it, and it was amazing. The veggie burger (Pepitos Secreto veggie) tasted home made and was a welcoming surprise after eating the supermarket-ones a whole week. Really perfect together with the patatas bravas. For dessert we took the home made cheese cake with raspberry jam. I have never tasted a cheese cake that was so creamy and tasteful. Together with the fresh jam, it was the perfect end of the evening. The people were so nice. I really hope they can stay long in Torredembarra. Big...
Read moreGreat food here and a nice place to eat as the sun was going down. I had the jalapeno burger which was great, Porky's bravas was very tasty. Kids (teens) had burgers.
I think the burger prices (approx €15 each) should include fries/bravas, we spent €95 on 3 x burgers, 1 bravas, 1 pulled pork bravas, cheesecake and chocolate pudding. Plus 2 x Vermouth, 2 x Fanta and a gin & tonic.
Really great food, but IMO not quite street food...
