Restaurante Alingui San Luis — Restaurant in Torrevieja

Have been going here for 15 years (including previous name and owner) and this will be my last visit. With my wife and 2 daughters - but it was my main that was the most awful food I've ever had served in a restaurant. I ordered a Milanese chicken and it was truly awful - chicken was dry, overcooked and I suspect just reheated. The coating was too hard to cut through. The "ham and cheese" were slices of cheap processed ham and cheese you'd get in a local supermarket put on top of the chicken. I genuinely took one bite and couldn't eat it but the waitress insisted we still pay for it, she was quite unpleasant. My daughter's split a pizza and that was below average as the crust was again from frozen and not fresh. The extra chips and chips included in the dishes were definitely frozen and not seasoned at all.....like zero seasoning and under cooked. I'm not one for such harsh reviews but avoid at all costs. This is a nice restaurant with very friendly staff but unfortunately the food was very bland I had the chorizo sausage in cider which was very disappointing then tried the Angus burger 🍔 the pattie unfortunately had no taste and the bum was hard ! can't fault the food for the money as they offer three courses for 12.90. there's plenty to choose from on the menu and the quality of food is pretty good for the price paid. service was good and we didn't have to wait too long for our food, which was good considering the restaurant was pretty much full. I did notice that this place has had a slating recently on TripAdvisor and Google. perhaps they have been taking note and made...
